I have no time for such foolishness as counseling. There are liberals needing cages.
And the day is young...

LOL, I can always depend on your sense of humor shining through Norm! ;)

“I'm concerned about Cruz wanting to "Spank" Hillary.Hillary should be in jail, not spanked."

You did not get the analogy when Cruz said he spanks his child if she lies. The continuing sentence was the voters have a way to spank Clinton. That, of course, means not voting for her would be the spanking.

I have just one question:

If an American ‘American born’ citizen marries a Muslim, and has a child, this child is brought up in Muslim teachings, so does that mean when this child is old enough to hold the position of POTUS or V.P. will that child be able to?

Just asking....

Do you ever actually say anything positive about Trump and his political positions rather than constantly trolling anti-Cruz CDS crap?

THERE IS NO HUMOR IN THE NEEDED CAGING OF LIBERALS!!!

Only satisfaction. Trump is wrong. Totally wrong. If you want to make America great again, you remove the problem at the source. You cage liberals.

Now if he wants to create The DCL (Department of Caging Liberals), then he has my vote, Until then, I must carry on. Alone. In the dark. Up hill. Both ways.

;)

Lol no....here’s the thing, if someone came to Trump with a proposal that would turn his company around and revolutionize it yet he’d have to commit a great deal to it (akin to millions of votes and this country) YET said person gave the vagueness that Trump has AND spoke verbally the way Trump has (with no content and truly below the average education in thought) Trump would laugh that person from his office instructing him to never return.

Yet he cannot form a cohesive thought and seeks our votes?

Relax, Cruz’s citizenship status will not be an issue in this election. This is all a distraction because there is literally no chance Cruz could even get the nomination at this point.

You sound pretty confident, but he’s a politician first, and quite frankly, I don’t trust him. As a Constitutional Scholar, he has studied the issue and knows the NBC requirement. He knows he is not qualified, and is using obama’s playbook...Using Cruz’s criteria makes Jughead even more qualified than Cruz. At least Jughead was born in Hawaii, not a foreign country.
No, Cruz is disingenuous at best. He should step aside and support Trump. The enemy is at the gates, we are running out of time.

Precedent Obama has rendered that clause moot.
Under the current definition of simply being born a citizen, if even only on one’s mother’s side, makes every anchor baby and Winston Churchill eligible. (his mother was an American)

I went to school in the 1960’s and was taught that natural born citizen was a subset of citizen and required only for the office of President. Must be born here to citizen parents. Reading the writings of the people who wrote the Constitution confirms this. They wanted no divided allegiance. If you could be anything other than a U.S. citizen, you can’t be a natural born citizen. No foreign births, no foreign parents.

Many people wanted the definition changed for various reasons.

Sure, and if you look back through my posting history you will find that have, and that I was once a Cruz supporter, both vocally and financially. That changed the day Cruz voted for TPA and implied, with sheer disrespect for his constituents, that we had to pass it to find out what was in TPP. Cruz voted for a bill with blank pages just like obumber care. Not quite the anti-establishment action Cruz claims he has taken. And reading Dr. Suess on the senate floor did not help anything. That and the fact that Cruz is funded by the GOPe types like CFG terminated my support for him.

Oh, It’s you again. Why are you such a racist, such a hater. Guess ignorance and bigotry know no boundaries. Mostly, they come together. But, then there are also those that are demonically possessed and want to destroy anyone who disagree with them. But in your case it is simple. You are simply a moron.

Do you disagree Hillary should be in jail?

Why can’t Cruz just say things more straightforward?

Instead of nonsense about accountability and spanking.

Hillary should be in jail. Period.

Thew WaPo piece by Barnett includes a cite to another pundit.

The gist of Barnett's argument is that jus sanguinas was at least "a" (I doubt it was "the only") basis for extending basis for finding a person to be the King's subject.

Anyway, he has this cite, he quotes from it, and goes right on as though there is no counter to his conclusion that all person born of citizens are natural born citizens follow the citizenship of (I suppose either) parent. Bold emphasis below is mine.

All authorities seemingly concurred that the offspring of the King, regardless of place of birth, were plainly the King's "natural-born subjects." No statute was ever needed to make such persons "subjects." Indeed, as Blackstone added, even the King's ambassadors, because of their representative capacity, likewise carried abroad, by extension, the movable bodily sovereignty of the King: "the children of the king's embassadors born abroad were always held to be natural subjects." Unlike children born abroad to ordinary subjects, these children required no parliamentary naturalization at all--they were always deemed "natural-born."
Well, Cruz wasn't "offspring of the king," or even the child of a king's ambassador.

Just an academic point. The outcome that has been already determined is that Cruz is a NBC, and consensus is always right, and the sun orbits the earth because that's what everybody believed 500 years ago.

Glad you got the light hearted humor, I think that Trump is presenting himself in public in a way that is going to appeal to the vast majority of Americans (and the numbers in his rallies suggest that a lot of them are responding), because we have to consider that sad as it is, the general population has been dumbed down in an awful way since (for example) 1980. Like the late Peter Finch said in ‘Network’, “you don’t need me to tell you things are bad, you know they’re bad!” and Trump is serving as an outlet, a public bullhorn if you will, for the majority of Americans who feel that their voices have been forgotten, ignored and disregarded.

If someone wants more details on what Trump is proposing, they can either go to his website OR read his books (he’s written more than a few) to get a more in-depth feel for what he represents.

Detailed proposals in this instantaneous internet age get lost almost as quickly as they are offered, unless they contain some sort of perceived ‘gotcha’ phrase that the lamestream media latches onto in an attempt to trash whoever it is said it. I don’t like that anymore than anyone else, but something Trump is doing, is certainly resonating and his consistent support demonstrates that.

That is why I think a Trump-Cruz ticket would be just about perfect, certainly an improvement over the Reagan-Bush ticket, selecting GHWB as his VP was the only serious political error I believe the Gipper ever made.

Just my thoughts, YMMV. ;)

Yes Joe six pack, those are very familiar words “ In your face “ since Obama used those words to tell his supporters to get in their faces during his campaigns, or is that Teamsters Unionist thuggery talk ?

The masks are coming off the TRUMP supporters and are truely showing their true colors.

Ex-Obama Voters supporting Donald Trump.

Even Rush Limbaugh stated this passed week that most of Donald Trump’s support is NOT coming from Conservatives who listen to talk radio, but most of Trump’s support is coming from blue collar Democrats...... Rush Limbaugh said that, not me.

It seems Ex-Obama Voters are getting their revenge against Conservatives for going after Obama’s eligibility as Trump supporters, who are now trying everything they can to bring Ted CRUZ down including this issue.
