That’s the clincher. They haven’t done the comprehensive studies of all the other animals. Elephants show tenderness with one another and also have been known to deeply grieve when their human friend has died. I have seen videos of animals who haven’t seen their human friend for years after having being released into the wild who when they see them show tremendous, unmistakable joy. They stand on their hind legs and hug and lick them adamantly. I am sure that The LORD has originally created many of the animals to be loved and show love. It is the fall that has turned them into wild creatures struggling to survive. After Jesus comes back and He creates the new world and heavens all will again be peaceful and loving between man and creatures.
Horses are masters of reading body language and emotion.But a horse will only respond to you if it trusts and respects you.
I’ve had one mare for 18 years now,it’s just like being married-all we do is argue.But I understand her moods and she does mine.

Cows can tell when you are aggressive or kind.
Horses and donkeys know when you are scared.
Chickens know when you love them by cuddling under your armpit.
Pigs and hogs know when you are vulnerable and protect you.
A fawn knows if you are non-thresatening.
Wolves can tell if you are scared.
A skunk knows if you love him or not by not squirting you.
A fisher is unpredictable.
A sparrow will land on your head if you are over 75 and reminiscing .
A garter snake will not slither away if he knows you are friendly.
An elephant knows everything about you and they never forget it.
A cat will get jealous and pout if he/she thinks you do not love them more than other cats or dogs.
Dolphins are way up there with the dogs.
Black panthers can tell if you are really stupid, scared or not, at night.
A part of the problem is that cats train their owners, not vice-versa. =^O
As a side note to this thread, please consider the following.
I wonder if dogs can predict imminent human deaths, at least statistically, as some cats seem to be able to do?

That cat looks just like my “Kitty”.....Tabby Cats are known to be one of the smartest cats. I believe it after getting “Kitty”.....he certainly knows what he wants and what my moods are without question!

Dogs actually like people. They prefer to save them from death.

They have caused me to at least better control my temper and clean up my language while doing-it-myself around the house, though.
I’m sure others have found this to be true....
My dog will sit at the window a minute or two BEFORE my wife drives into the driveway from work....

Actually, studies are now showing that horses are very good at reading human emotions too. But any horse person already knows this!

Yes, horses probably can too. At least from what I’ve seen.
And I have some photos of mother/colt shots that are incredible.
