No, I did not take it that way. I don't believe Cruz "attacked everyone in New York State". I maintain that I knew what Cruz was referring to, and that was the liberal values of NYC, not the entire state of New York, lock stock and barrel.

Don't make up things I never said.

Of course Cruz was being political. He was trying in a clumsy and inarticulate way to attack Trump.

Cruz attacked “New York Values”.

What I said was Cruz did not attack any NY liberal politicians. He did not say New York City values.

If Cruz meant something different than what he actually said then he should be able to articulate that.

This doesn't hurt Trump. It hurts Cruz.
