MIL settled in and making progress?

She is. Walking more, and she has nurses and therapists and social workers through Nurses Unlimited that really watch her closely. She has a wireless BP and oxygen monitor and an alert/fall button.

She’s still moving to an assisted living/retirement center on Monday. We’ll see what happens. If she hates it, she can come back here. :)

Godspeed our Troops around the Globe – especially those in harm’s way – by virtue of their service and sacrifice we continue to live in Freedom!

This is the Arabic character "nun." It is the first letter of the word "Nazarene." I post it as my avatar in solidarity with people of all faiths suffering persecution at the hands of Islam. Many of them are members of the oldest of our Christian Communities, dating from the days of the Apostles. They endure cruel, merciless and unrelenting persecution. They are Orthodox and Catholic, Protestant and Evangelical, Coptic, Pentecostal, and Baptist. To the persecutors they, and we, are all "Nazarenes."

Good evening/morning, radu...everybody has gone to bed so I can play some tunes.

Hi Kathy.
A quiet evening tonight? Good! After yesterday and last night, I’d say it’s welcome.

Quiet here for the time being. Kitties are settled down for a while and that’s ALWAYS welcome. LOL!

Copying more of Dad’s emails and keeping tabs on what’s going on in the world. And keeping an eyeball on the owl’s nest in hopes Momma will make an appearance. She’s in tree calling out to the male, and I heard him reply a couple of times, but she’s stayed out of sight.

Kinda nice when everyone’s asleep and things are quiet, isn’t it?

Quiet is a rare occurrence here with all the cats we have because there’s usually a few awake at any point in time, thundering through the house as they play “tag”. So yes, I’m soaking it up! LOL

No babies for a while yet. No eggs have been laid though that can happen any time now. It was about this time last year when she laid. The Audubon group that sponsors the cam will post videos of any action people miss “live” but it is nice to see it happen when it occurs.
And this is just the first of 8 nests I keep tabs on each year. LOL
