(Rush Limbaugh) is pushing Cruz because Cruz has zero chance of winning the nomination and Rush knows it.

I respectfully disagree.

Again ... Rush Limbaugh clearly stated that Ted Cruz was the ONLY genuine candidate.

Secondly, after listening to Rush Limbaugh for over twenty years ...

I was AMAZED when Rush Limbaugh asked over and over, on different shows ....

this question ...

Folks, Image if you will, the INCREDIBLE effect of Ted Cruz winning the Iowa Caucus ..."

Maybe you can help me out.

Has Rush Limbaugh EVER said anything like this for a pre-nomination GOP candidate ?

My memory says: NEVER.

Rush Limbaugh (like me) clearly admires the hell of out Donald Trump.

Rush Limbaugh (like me) clearly wants Ted Cruz elected 45th President of the United States.

Okay, then you think it’s Conservative to trash California’s Propostion 187, which passed by popular vote, and would have cut services to illegal immigrants to get them to go home?

You think it’s Conservative to address the illegal alien issue by bringing up the poor children, and what we can’t do because there are children involved?

You think it’s a Conservative move to go against States Rights when thy pass into law an issue like Proposition 187?

You think it’s Conservative to default to the 14th Amendment definitely making the children born to illegal immigrants on our soil legal citizens?

You think it’s Conservative to claim you only offered up an amendment to the Gang of 8 Bill to increase the numbers of H1-B visas per year to 500% of what it was, but be found to still be pushing that two years later?

You think it was Conservative to claim John Roberts had one of the best Constitutional minds in the nation, supporting him for Chief Justice?

You think it’s okay to vote for Corker and claim you suckered every Liberal Democrat and all but one Republican to vote with you, even though many of them are real Leftists, when they never vote for anything even hinting to be Conservative?

You think it’s okay to vote for TPA and claim you suckered every Liberal Democrat and Every Liberal Republican to vote with you, when they never vote for anything even hinting to be Conservative? This after you’ve said you don’t support TPP and TPA was a must top get TPP passed?

I think the GOPe is just running a pick and roll for Rubio. They still believe Trump will falter or stumble before Super Tuesday. Meanwhile, they take Cruz out of second and give Rubio a second shot at it.

Either I am reading this wrong or others are, as I do not see Rush endorsing Cruz over Trump, or vice-versa. Instead he is providing analysis of the GOPe favoring Trump over Cruz. He is then providing his analysis of why the GOPe would entertain this reasoning of choosing Trump over Cruz.

From what I have read, I do not listen to Rush, is him being supportive of both of these candidates. While it is true that Cruz has shown himself to be a true conservative, which the GOPe absolutely hate, Rush's analysis makes perfect sense. Trump on the other hand has displayed liberal tendencies in the past. I will vote for either of them, because this country can survive neither a Clinton or Sanders Presidency.

Cruz scares the GOPe because they know what he would be like as President.

Trump scares the GOPe because they don’t know what he would be like as President.

great state of Texas. You know, the most conservative state in the nation.

********************************************************

According to electoral maps I’ve seen, that honor goes to Oklahoma, not one single blue county.

And no, I’m not from Oklahoma.
