Glenn fought a courageous battle for the past several weeks but, sadly, succumbed to complications from Rheumatoid Arthritis, Acute Ulcerative Colitis and Pneumonia.

The Frey family would like to thank everyone who joined Glenn to fight this fight and hoped and prayed for his recovery.

Words can neither describe our sorrow, nor our love and respect for all that he has given to us, his family, the music community & millions of fans worldwide.

Goodness knows, I am not a “perfect FReeper” but honestly folks, this has been posted a MINIMUM of 5 times already! I am beginning to think of Glen as Generallisom Francisco Franco, with the number of times his death has been announced!

I only saw the first one, and at least one has been pulled. This is the first I’ve seen with a link to The Eagles website.

So, unless a person is on FR 24/7, how many pages back should they search to satisfy your sensibilities?

Unless I’m missing something, no extra electrons must be obtained to shoot out a duplicate post or two...

Glenn was in my first big movie, “Let’s Get Harry.” Wonderful guy - extremely witty. He called me “Words” - I called him “Tunes.” prayers for the repose of his soul.

They couldn’t stand each other, I remember when they were profiled on 60 Minutes a few years ago, and they would show Henley looking off to the side with his arms folded when Frey was talking.

He played the GM of the Arizona Cardinals in “Jerry Maguire”.

So will he be in the “In Memoriam” part of the The Oscars?

I like duplicate posts. It ensures that news reaches the widest FR audience. I am also not one of those 24/7 FR people and there is no way I could possibly keep up with every article posted here. So I do appreciate the duplicate posts as it increases my chance of seeing it.

Threads on FR tend to have a very short shelf life. As soon as they stop drawing replies for a while, even an hour or so, they drop right out of sight and into FR oblivion. There are thousands of great articles posted here that are lost forever because not enough people replied fast enough.

One of the best song writing duos ever, although I can’t agree that Don had the better voice.

I would say that his and Henley’s voices meshed well together.

Can't imagine how anyone posted this without using "EAGLES" as a key word, but it didn't show up in my search.

(Sorry for your inconvenience)
