Donald Trump holds a 20-point lead in the New Hampshire Republican primary, a new CNN/WMUR poll shows.
Behind him, there's still a scrum for second place -- with support for No. 2, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, on the rise.
Trump is backed by 34% of those likely to vote in New Hampshire's February 9 GOP primary, more than double his nearest contender, Cruz, who has 14% support.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio are tied for third with 10% each.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul are each tied at 6%, followed by Carly Fiorina with 4% support, and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee at 1%.

Wait, so “surging Ted” is back replacing “surging Kasich?”
I wonder if Trump is giving Cruz some kind of boost by paying so much attention to him. I think he’s done better just to leave him alone unless he needs to answer some direct charge Cruz makes. Otherwise, I think Trump does better leaving Cruz alone - Cruz’s appearances seem to be about as meager generally as Jebby’s appearances.
There can only be one surger.
That sounds slightly pornographic.
So, Democrats, Independents, and moderate Republicans will decide our nominee.
Next week, Surging Jeb
More like a line from that movie about immortals.
There can only be one.
Kasich at 20% poll was a fraudulent push poll.
His turn at second place was thankfully short!
If I had to write a title it would be “Trump leads nearest competitor in a crowded field by 20%”. That’s pretty darn impressive, considering that Cruz’s staff threw everything they could at Trump this week.
Looks like Trump has hit his ceiling in NH. Cruz is surging. The trend is your friend, right?
Cruz is the battering ram used by the elites to take down Trump. Then they will gut Cruz and make Bush or some other tool the candidate. Unfortunately lots of so called conservatives and tea partiers will play right into their hands.
Its over. Can you say President Trump? I love it. President Trump. I can hear it now, “Today President Trump sent the National Guard to the immediately secure the border while his building contractors started working on the the fence.”
Another quote in the news, “Tomorrow President Trump will sign the following Executive Orders rescinding the following previous EO—DACA, DAPA, outlawing govt unions, govt. documents in Spanish, and that is just for starters he said.”
Cruz didn’t climb very far at all.
