Opinion: Trump’s downtrodden supporters don’t deserve our sympathy
Market Watch ^ | Jan 12, 2016 | Tim Mullaney

As the Donald Trump phenomenon endures, it's become fashionable to make a certain kind of excuse for the boorishness of his backers, if not The Donald himself.

"Don't blame them" is the theme of front-page stories and much-discussed magazine essays. The economy left them behind, the world doesn't work like they were promised it would as young people, and we have to understand. They're angry, and should be.

Who’s asking for your sympathy?

Just don’t ask for my vote.

These cucksuckers sent manufacturing to Asia, then flooded the country with cheap illegal Mexicans to lower the wages of what jobs remain. Their blood should run through the streets, their families hung from telephones poles.

It ain’t just the media that’s sick of The Donald and his 0bamaesque followers. A whole lot of us real conservatives are sick of that guppy mouthed carpetbagger.

Seriously, if they want to hurt Trump the best thing they could do is keep their pie-holes shut.

Most of the Trump supporters here seem to be having fun—as opposed to the Cruz supporters, who are not having fun.

Trump, in 2013, endorsed communist Bill De Blasio for New York City mayor. He supports Obama's opening up to communist Cuba. He loves Putin. He, in his mid-50s, supported gays in the military AND partial birth abortion.

DONALD TRUMP [on Larry King Show (2009), referring to the then newly elected communist president]: "Well, I really like him. I think that he's working very hard. He's trying to rebuild our reputation throughout the world. I mean, we really have lost a lot of reputation in the world. The previous administration [GW Bush] was a total disaster, a total catastrophe ."

And I'm not saying I agree with everything he's doing. I do agree with what they're doing with the banks. Whether they FUND THEM or NATIONALIZE them, it doesn't matter, but you have to keep the banks going."

The CLE is still trying their brainwash of the American people. It will only intensify towards the end of the year.

Is it not more than an oddity the unvarnished display of bedfellows that has been unmasked of the protectionist GOPe and the MSM?

Time to invest in oxen steaks.

You’re calling Trump a carpetbagger and you support someone born in Canada?

Good.

Then drop the act and officially team up with you leftist media allies so you can get this weak candidate of yours to the general so they can officially take care of him, when they wont have any use for him or his supporters anymore, and wont care how much you whine.

Or do you guys think they are your good buddies and pals?

Does anyone really think this scorched earth policy is really going to work? I don’t think it will. If anything, it gives Trump even more media coverage, increases the idea that he is under attack for daring to open his mouth about the biggest land invasion in the history of the world along our southern border, and the potential danger of unrestricted Muslim immigration.

I’ve noticed that a lot of these attacks are from rabid neocons, who I suspect are angry because Trump doesn’t have to go to them on bended knee begging for their money, and he certainly doesn’t need them to get his name in print. Essentially, he doesn’t need them at all, and hopefully he’ll ignore them the next time they are trying to drag us into more wars.

Boy ain’t that the truth. The sanctimonius ones make it look like backing Ted is like backing a mortician.

If that is the cheer Ted generates, I really wouldn’t want to be a part of that.
