Truth, Justice, and the American Way.
Forget the so-called gunshow loophole, time to stop the FBI loophole.
‘Fast & Furious III’. F&F #2 was the clever U.S. transfer of arms to ISIS via the Iraqi troops.
Can you imagine the $hitstorm that would befall you if you, as a citizen had a weapon stolen from your car? This is nothing more than a mini-Fast and Furious with the government refusing to give any details. I live about 22 miles from Benicia. It’s a sleepy little town on the Sacramento-SanJoaquin River that was once the state’s capitol. Just wondering what the FBI was doing there, unless the agents actually live there. Not likely to be a hotbed of criminal activity.
Don’t they have vehicle safes?
Didn’t this just happen recently?
The gun that was used to shoot Kathryn Steinle was stolen from a federal agent, was it not?
This is beginning to seem like something other than an accident. I know, crazy talk. Just like F&F was treated like crazy talk.
For some reason I smell estrogen exuding from this incident.
I was thinking the same thing, may I be forgiven.
Questions. Locked and alarmed; so they left the car locked and alarmed but apparently the firearms were not locked and alarmed.
Best sentence: “In two of the recent thefts, firearms stolen from law enforcement agentsâ vehicles were later used in fatal slayings.”
That’s as good as suspect got his head decapitated.
I think the thieves got swindled. GLOCKS? Where’s the full-auto MP-5’s?
Why be forgiven for being RIGHT?
They don’t seem to be able to keep control of their weapons. I didn’t know it was standard procedure for the FBI to lock your weapon in your car when you weren’t wearing it. I was under the impression that one was supposed to have control of your weapon at all times. As someone who was responsible for knowing where mine was, I’d never have left a personal or departmental issued weapon locked in my car at any time. I worked with a guy or two who during hunting season forgot they’d left their shotgun in the gun rack in the cab of their truck when they came to work, which was on state property. They were brought up on departmental charges.
When I see stories like this I cannot help but think that the “victim” was paid big money for the “stolen” items.
How come they don't have to have trigger locks on their weapons? Since they keep having their weapons stolen from their cars, maybe they should go that route.
And why were they leaving their guns in a car in the first place? Were they attending a Gun Free Zone so, even though Federal Agents, they took their guns off?
Hey there journalism professionals———WHO OWNED these firearms?? Were they FBI issue or privately owned or a mixture of both?
Yes I know, that thinking all by yourselves is really demanding.
Who leaves weapons and badges in a vehicle? The idiot should be fired and lose her pistol permit.
I don’t even leave my computer in my car and I live in a very safe community.
Thinking is HARD!
