DISGUSTING! Cruz Camp Smearing Donald Trump at Iowa Caucus Sites

Disgusting. The Cruz camp is slandering Donald Trump tonight at the GOP caucuses.

The Cruz precinct captain Tim Osborne smeared Trump tonight in Des Moines saying Trump was for abortion and amnesty just six months ago. Six months ago Donald Trump was already running for president. And he’s reading his talking points.

It looks like the Cruz folks will stop at nothing. Sad.

Most every complaint here on FR makes sense save the gratuitous nonsense. We’ve learned quite a bit about both candidates. But we can’t forget it’s the primaries — a family brawl. I’m not being dismissive, just being Irish.

Cruz is a phenomenal technician. He’s better fitted for the Senate and SCOTUS.

Trump is leader — one that is practically guaranteeing an outcome. And while it takes faith to follow the likes of Trump, inevitably he’ll be regarded for his promises, lies, successes, and failures. Trump is Scottish, correct?

I don’t know what Cruz’s true character is. I do know that Sarah Palin who knows both Trump and Cruz chose to support Trump.

She said it was an easy choice because SHE wanted to see Cruz stay in the senate. Presumably because she helped put him there and didn't feel it was his time to go for Prez.

I say the Cruz is not hers or anyone's puppet and is free to do whatever he thinks is right.

We have a state senator here in AZ that's running for McCain's seat. Many here don't want to lose her locally but had to let her go both figuratively and literally.

Cruz is perfect for SCOTUS. Where he needs to be.

Rubio though is the real threat now.

RINOs are using divide and conquer with Trump and Cruz. We’ve all be helping them here as have our candidates.

Rubio is amnesty and will sell out to get elected.

“Nobody.... Carson, CNN, or Cruz... ever said “drop out”.”

So, if it wasn’t the intention to deceive the caucus goers, why was it necessary to say ANYTHING? We both know what was going on here. And BTW, I’m not sleazy and we WILL see how this all plays out now won’t we.

Little Teddy - if that’s his real name - got 1 more delegate than Trump after spending millions of dollars in Iowa. I’d hardly call that a big win.

If they both tied for the exact same number of delegates I really can’t see that as a win for either one.
I see it as a tie.
Iowa is a bible thumper state Cruz should have been much much better than he did

You are right - they want a GOPe and Rubio is their guy. Who knows if those votes in Iowa for the Rube were fair: After all, Microsoft, who so graciously, offered their tally machines free of charge to Iowa, is one of the large donors to the Rubio campaign. What could go wrong?

Agreed.

Regardless of the Establishment’s calculations, Rubio’s apparent success in Iowa will arouse the disconnected minions and opportunists. The smell of Koch looms.

Politics ain’t beanbag. Winning, after all, isn’t losing.

I thought this was a good quality to have in a nominee...

Honestly I’m okay with him bashing Trump. That’s expected and Trump should have expected it.

The Carson move though. I like Ben. He just got a big kick in the nuts and welcomed to politics.

He seems though determined to move on and play spoiler.

If Cruz had come in a close second to Trump or Rubio, you'd be thrilled because he was showing the establishment how deep the hatred is for the GOPe. Lol

For a man who has never run a campaign to come in a close second, Trump is doing wonderfully well. And he's in it for the long haul. Cruz is not going to have a cake walk.

Yup. This is all about Rubio now. The uniparty has selected it’s champion. Expect bumper to bumper coverage from here on out.

Looking at the Monday-night Iowa caucuses, the two models are more or less in agreement about each party’s favorites: businessman Donald Trump and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

In the Republican race, the polls-plus model gives Trump a 46% chance of winning, compared with 39% for Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, 14% for Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, and 1% for retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson.

Trump is forecast to have a 54% chance of winning, compared with 33% for Cruz, 11% for Rubio, and 1% for Carson.
