I just checked the timeline and the carson statement was made almost 2 hours after the rumor spread by cnn. You know how slow carson is.
Cruz is hiring people to do underhanded things, skirting the truth, creating plausible deniability.
I liked Cruz at first. Now, he is beginning to look Nixonian and a bit of a schemer.
To me, this goes against his claim to be a “principled conservative.”
I give Trump a little more credit than that. There was a good point made on another thread that Trump saying these things could strengthen Carson in South Carolina, pulling votes from Cruz and others in a variation of divide and conquor.

Trump has six days to turn his campaign around or he may as well pack it in.

to remember that NH votes in six days and I doubt they care that much about

The GOP establishment poured a lot of money, time and effort to ensure a Trump loss (he was not at his strongest in a caucus based system of voting) against Cruz in order to blunt Trump and try and have the Iowa loss derail Trump moving forward in NH. There Trump either loses or barely wins thanks to the post Iowa attacks and Rubio can be claimed as the comeback kid.
Cruz allowed himself to be used by the establishment for this purpose and they will now toss him to the curb.

Trump is undoing all the good he accomplished during his concession speech with all these remarks.
Donald Trump has promised to take over the Republican Party. He is not going to “go third party”. If you are comfortable with spooks running Ted Cruz’s campaign, then that means the PSYOP is working for them.
