If I had been a precinct captain for Carson and someone stood up and said that he was withdrawing, I would have simply gone to Carson's twitter feed to see that he had refuted the implication of the CNN story. And to see that he was still actively campaigning at various caucus locations.
Are we supposed to believe that a statistically significant number of committed Carson voters simply took the word of another campaign and did not bother to independently verify it?
How stupid do you think the people in Iowa are?

Or it could be Karl Rove trying to curry favor with Ruvbio so he can get some more fat lobby checks since Cruz wont give him the time of day.
This is a Karl Rove dirty trick.

First, BOOM? What the heck is up with the overuse of boom, it's ridiculous. Second, So now what Komisar Karl says has validity?
Wow, how.......flexible people are when they grab at the most distasteful thing as long as it supports their chosen candidate! And I'm not limiting that to supporters of Trump.

The GOPe is attacking Cruz in full force.
May FReepers come together to support the candidate that the establishment most hates, Jim Robinson’s favorite candidate, Ted Cruz.

Rove was positively giddy tonight!
Karl [paraphrased]: IF just 4 Carson voters out of every precinct in Iowa switched their vote to Cruz, Cruz wins.
IF those voters had not switched their votes, Trump wins.
To: Helicondelta
So, now Karl Rove is relied upon as a valid go to source? Oy....the bizarro world has definitely entered the deranged.

Let me explain but I think most of you know what this is about.
The ESTABLISHMENT that invaded Iraq ,over nothing. destroyed conservatism and allowed it to fall to the obama communists— now wants the money back . They HATE TRUMP. They HATE CRUZ. They love their puppet RUBIO!! Don’t you know they loved him on stage with Graham and MCcain and Flake—— and Schumer and Menendez ( Criminal), in the gang of amnesty 8 and that sob DICK Durban? Don’t you know that made them so happy to see him up there with their buddies?
Let me tell you Freeps. This is a war for the survival of this nation. Rubio is the ENEMY!!

Rove IS a Trump fan. Rove is s fan of ANYONE that can beat Cruz.
Cruz is the only threat to the RINO party, so naturally Rove is siding with Trump.

Ahh, but the strawberries that's... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I'd have produced that key if they hadn't of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers...
The Donald WILL find those strawberries...and the key.....with Karl's help. Then, The Donald will find those pilfered votes....you'll see....with geometric logic, the GOPe will reveal the dastardly deeds of the Cruz campaign.

Ok ok. If Karl Rove says so, it must be so. Say, how is that Romney win in 2012 doing these days?
Get back to me when you have something that makes any sense to say will ya?
To: Helicondelta
If the caucuses were held again today; Trump might get 12% of the vote; compared to he 24% he got Wednesday.
Give him another week; and he will be at Jeb Bush levels.
People are on to his act.
To: Helicondelta
When you need Karl Rove and Kimmy Carter to come to your side, your obviously flailing and failing as a candidate.

Rove is loving this controversy because if he can keep it going he can tarnish Cruz and make Trump look like a sore loser at the same time. So, of course he is going to try to make a mountain out of this molehill because he thinks that will help Rubio and Jeb.
To: Helicondelta
Karl Rove is full of crap now just as he was full of crap in 2012, 2008, and as Bush's top adviser during his 2nd term.
