Eagles of Death Metal frontman slams French gun control

First off the name of the band is sort of an ironic joke - they are not so called death metal.

Also, the lead singer who formed the group is a conservative and always has been. I posted that he was a conservative on Freerepublic so the word could get out that he was "one of us".

All they had to do was come out and say, "There needs to be common-sense gun control!!!" and they'd have gigs the rest of their lives, on tour like Gabrielle Giffords or James Brady and others.

I GREATLY admire them for telling the truth. No doubt they were under pressure from gun-grabbers to use their tragedy in the campaign to undermine the 2nd amendment.

Of course it did. No politicians died in this attack. They are the only ones that they care about. The government will take care of us, at least those of us who are politicians.
