The Obama administration has vowed to sign a United Nations global warming deal in April despite intense opposition from the Senate and a Supreme Court ruling derailing the government's green regulatory scheme.

"We're going to go ahead and sign the agreement this year," Todd Stern, the U.S.'s climate envoy told reporters Tuesday, brushing aside questions about last week's Supreme Court ruling against the Environmental Protection Agency's key climate regulation.

Hmmmm. I thought the scouts action was a "stay" and not a ruling against the epa. Derailing? Hardly. In either case, constitutional or not makes no difference to the lyin' king. Next, a call to mitchy boy to go ahead with confirmation hearings and subsequent approval of the lyin' king's nominee. Easy peasy.

What are they good for?

Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the United States Constitution, includes the Treaty Clause, which empowers the President of the United States to propose and chiefly negotiate agreements, which must be confirmed by the Senate.

All because there's half that will believe anything that issues forth from a pathological liar's pie hole and because he's not white.

Years ago, in a High School history book I read where some old dead white guy said (more or less) We’ve created a wonderful Republic, IF we can hold on to it.” Kinda like that. Today, sadly, THE ISSUE IS IN DOUBT. Not looking to good at all.
I avoid TV, so I missed the news when the U.S. Constitution was repealed.

Oh, well in that case I’m sure it’ll go to the senate before he signs it. LOL! If he signs it, it will be ceremonial at best but unenforceable.

Maybe the regime could use some extra signatures to carry more weight.

My golden retriever would be more than happy to sign - would make her tail wag.

This would magnify its force of legitimization by a hundred fold!

The first order of business if I were president would be to find and remove the cancer of George Soros and his economic and sociological experiment meddling a$$ from the face of the earth then deal with his foot soldiers.

The good part about ubama signing it without the Senate is that it really is not worth the paper it is written on. We will be just like Togo or Malawi or, for that matter even Spain or Slovenia or Germany. We can just turn a blind eye to the agreement any time we want. Don’t meet the guidelines? Oh, Sorry!

(Of course, if the Dems win the White House, or the Repubs fold again on a Supreme Court pick,it won’t matter anyway. We’re screwed.)

I only meant that it can't stand up to judicial scrutiny if he signs it.

If it does and is allowed to stand, that will be the final, irrevocable, call-to-arms, drop dead moment that our Republic is finally dead.

I, for one, do not intend to go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

“Time for congress to impeach this boy and have him serve some JAIL TIME1111”

Impeachment is limited to removal from office. Any “jail time” would require a separate criminal trial.

This is the wrong time to initiate impeachment proceedings which would do nothing but inflame the democrat base. Not a good idea in an election year. BTW, you need 2/3 vote of the Senate to remove from office. No way you’ll get the required democrat senators to vote to remove.

IOW, you’re blowing smoke.

Obama can sign whatever he wants...but the Senate must approve it to bear any weight.
