[ Especially as long as Trump is still around.

(My Bad!) ]

No worries, all the trumpkins around here are really exasperated me, you have a bunch of supposed conservatives who ate the fresh meat thrown too them by “zoo keeper trump” and now not only are they jumping through hoops for the guy they are jumping through flaming hoops into pits for the guy and viciously attacking the other animals in the zoo who are even saying “maybe we should think about his record”

Trump is definitely NOT pro-life, he is a Pro-whatever gets him past the primary.

He is about as pro-life as half of Romney was.

Congress would have to override roe v wade in order to make any new legislation stick. They have no will to do it and Cruz is not well liked so he would have very little impact on this issue in the Congress.

The truth of the matter is that a majority of Americans don’t really want Roe v Wade overturned and the Supreme Court is very aware of it. They pretty much consider it settled law and are unlikely to take it up in our lifetime.

The only chance for any movement on abortion is in the Congress and the individual states who could assert their 10th amendment rights. Again unlikely in most states as Governors and state legislators are aware its not a big issue for most voters.

So attempting to assign powers to Trump and Cruz that they do not possess is just pointless.

Roe v Wade ceases to be valid if the child has full rights.

Americans are presently 2:1 opposed to abortion, and rising.

Also, states can do the same on their own.

so I am pretty sure I won't rot in Hell.

However, someone pro-abortion like Trump, should be concerned.

Not nearly enough.

He probably knows I don't like Ivy Leaguers and lawyers.

This video is excellent. Cruz is showing an "outspoken" pro-life stance, and an amazing belief in Jesus Christ. As a Catholic, who wanted a Catholic to win this election [because of the power of the Sacraments to save baby life and mother too], I'm daily impressed with Cruz.

Don't take Jesus out of the equation. He WILL at some point end abortion [if enough people pray].

I think I just said that the states can exert their 10th amendment rights.

If Congress tries anything except overriding roe v wade a lawsuit will ensue and it will be upheld in the 9th Dist or probably even the 11 Dist appeals court. Then proceed to the Supremes who will decide against. They will not let roe v wade go by the wayside. As I said before most Americans (may be agains’t late term abortion) do not want to see abortion outlawed.

Ted Cruz is just playing on your fantansies. Donald Trump knows what the reality is. He’s pro-life but there’s not much he can do about it.

Cruz is probably my first choice, but this is an incredibly stupid position to take politically.

Well for purposes of this election the economy, jobs and our national sovereignty are taking a front seat to abortion and gay marriage which is why Donald Trump will be the GOP nominee.

Everything Cruz says is calculated lawyer-speak.
What few are apparently noticing about Coburn’s complaint, is that he said Cruz did it all for show (i.e. “shouting and flag waving”). So he could claim to be the “principled conservative” but knowingly put forth stuff that would not/could not succeed. In my book that’s a liar and a phony.

Wow. That is quite the fantasy world you live in. If Cruz was so great, he’d be winning South Carolina instead of coming in 3rd.

You wrote:

When the field clears, only Cruz will be standing.

Yes, I am quite serious. And the polling I have seen does not indicate that Cruz is the First or second chioce of almost everyone;

If we calculate a "first or second choice" percent we get:

TRUMP: 46%
RUBIO: 39%
CRUZ: 33%
BUSH: 23%
CARSON: 20%
KASICH 16%

So, this seems to be saying if Trump goes south Rubio has the most to gain.

Every time a candidate has dropped out the lions share of their support has gone to Cruz.

Your conniving propaganda is of no value to an honest voter.

You are too funny. "Conniving propaganda", ha ha ha. It's just math and analysis. I've provided quite a bit of data to back up my analysis, you've provided none for your claims.

Let's take your latest claim, as your original claim I've already debunked above.

Every time a candidate has dropped out the lions share of their support has gone to Cruz.

First, let me stipulate, that if this were true this would be very good news for Cruz, and would bode well for him winning the nomination. In other words it's a a great bit of "conniving propaganda" to prop-up Ted's campaign faithful, if it's true. Is it?

Looking at the RCP National Poll Average Chart you see Cruz was at 20.3% on Feb 1, right before Iowa, and before the other candidates started dropping out.

Today he is at 21.0%. So Cruz's percentage gain from Huckabee, Santorum, Rand, Christie, Fiorina - who added up to about 9% on Feb 1 only a measley 0.7%.

That is not not the lion's share!! In fact what the data shows that it is less than 10% of those choosing a new candidate choose Cruz.

Where did those supporters go? It's pretty obvious that they went mostly to Rubio, and then to Kasich. Those are the two candidates that have had significant poll improvement since Feb 1.

Cruz has hit his ceiling, sadly. His increasingly desperate campaign reflects this - Team Cruz must surely understand that the are losing the war of attrition, and Rubio is in a good position to move into 2nd place with the next round of candidates quitting.

Trump has shown some significant weakness since Feb 1, dumping about 7 points, but has recently rebounded and gained back about 5 of them.

It's a three way race, or maybe 4 way, but only two have a real shot: Trump and Rubio.

Some may choose to stay in and play for a brokered convention. The odds of that keep rising.

Cheers!

PS: Try not to take it so personally.
