But I was told by Cruz supporters that Trump never says anything bad about Obama because he loves him.

Maybe not anymore but I remember when Ob was running and Trump talked about how brilliant he was and that he was sure he would do a great job. Trump should say that he might have hired him, but he sure would have fired him as soon as he showed his true self. "Obama you're fired!"
