Yeah you’re probably right. They meant any country like the one they just rebelled against. I bow to you wisdom. Maybe, maybe not

Best analysis of the natural born citizen issue, pretty clearly putting the issue to rest: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/09/natural-born-citizens-marco-rubio-bobby-jindal-ted-cruz/

When I signed on I read back regarding Obama and the supremes failing to take a case. I have read o much, I smile convinced that the ussc had to rule and provide a definition. If they avoid their responsibility sign you and I will be swapping links four years from now.

In my opinion fwiw. The founders would not want a foreign born in Canada bo less to be considered a natural born us. It s inconceivable to me that this would have been acceptable to them

I think by virtue of McCain bring the son of an as dinged military personal out f contra, he should be acceptable as natural born. The resolution passed for him indicates to me that congress believes if you are born out of the country you are not NBC.

The issue isn’t that he was born in Canada. It has to do with his mother’s citizenship - whether or not she revoked it to become a Canadian citizen since her name showed up on eligible voter list to vote in Canada. There was NO dual citizenship at that time. If she didn’t - then neither of his parents were American citizens. That’s the real issue, and he isn’t eligible if so. This needs to be cleared up - obama got away with it, but, he at least showed a BC from Hawaii - fake or not. Cruz can’t play that same game - he isn’t black or a Democrat.

That great legal scholar, dentist and real estate broker Dr. Orly Taitz is needed.

Thousands of hours were spent on this website learning all about Presidential eligibility from her and her merry band of followers.

What goes around, comes around. I truly don’t know who has more credibility on eligibility, Cruz or Taitz. Neither was born in the US.

Cruz faces the fact no President has been born outside the US, period.

No. However, if JFK’s dad was born in Cuba, do you think he would have opposed Russian missiles in Cuba?

Actually, the obvious is that Trump is a loser in business. When it is considered that if he had only put his inheritance in a bank account, he would be better off today. Trump - the walking bankruptcy machine. He is a New York street punk that whines when he is called on his constant lies which is pretty much every time he opens his mouth.

I will never vote for a punk like Trump. Trump will never be president because there are a gazillion of us that hate the bastard.

The “if only Trump had put his money in a bank” story has been completely discredited. Number one- how many trust fund babies blow all of their money? Number two- how many people would have been employed if Trump’s money was in a bank? Number three- Trump has a legacy business that will continue to serve his family long after he is gone. It gives them purpose and something to point to with pride. Number four- the fact that you are so easily persuaded by a ridiculous story like that should make you rethink any plans you might have to father children.

Obama has a US birth certificate (likely forged). It’s still a leg up on Ted’s birth documentation.

Cruz has not shown a single US document on his birth, not even his passport. Supposedly he has that and a CRBA which were applied for sometime around his high school trip to Great Britain. Neither have been presented publicly.

Ted has provided his Mother’s US birth certificate, which for some folks is enough.

Many calling Ted’s credentials into question are generally trying to strengthen Cruz’s eligibility, not weaken it. Most want the issue cleared up early so it doesn’t become a liability in the general election.

“Cruz is eligible.”

Glenn Beck pushed listeners to read Skousen’s 5000 Year Leap for some time. Skousen, in his constitutional text book, says that foreign born are not eligible.

Even Glenn’s expert disagrees with you.

Cruz doesnt talk much about standing....he confronts the issue. Get your facts straight so that your opinions have a chance....

______________________________________________

Quote (quotations marks removed to prevent those funny symbols from appearing):

Ted Cruzs national campaign spokesman Rick Tyler says Donald Trump would look foolish if he tries to sue Cruz over eligibility to be president.

Appearing on CNNs Wolf on Tuesday with Wolf Blitzer, Tyler said Trump does not have standing to sue Cruz over Cruzs eligibility to be president.

Source: http://dailycaller.com/2016/02/16/cruz-spox-trump-would-look-foolish-if-he-sues-cruz-video/

I realize you are feeling very frustrated and angry, and I feel bad for that. I wish you could feel the joy and optimism I feel supporting Trump, but you have a serious disagreement.

I really do wonder why Cruz has not taken any steps to clarify his legal status, especially if the justification is so obvious and indisputable. As an attorney, why would he not have done the lawyerly thing long ago, get it settled before it might even become a problem? It never occurred to him that someone might raise the issue of his status during a presidential campaign?

The first Cruz argument is standing. IOW let’s not get into the legal question itself, let’s disqualify the person asking the question. And let’s call anybody “foolish” for seeking to get a legal clarification of the question.

Why are they “foolish”? Because they are legally disqualified from even asking the question.

See how that works?

I am curious, will you publicly call for Cruz to waive the standing argument?

Since the critics accepted Obama as 'legal' to become President, accepting Cruz as legal to become President should be as easy as drinking soup, after swallowing a whale.

LOL - sorry, the press has a double standard. They accept ANYTHING a liberal does ... not so much with us.

You’ve reached a new low level, on your Trump smear stretches.

You do realize the exact thing could be said for Ted, in the reverse, right? With his GS, CFR and Bush/McConnell connections.....
