As i understand it Cruz was born of a American parent, so done deal for me. Even though he is the smartest person of the bunch, hes never governed, or produced anything in the private sector. I imagine him as an attorney general. Im leaning toward Kasich or Trump. If its Cruz, so be it and we all need to get on board in the fall and lock down that SCOTUS for a couple of decades.
What I’ve learned from following this since the Obama birth certificate dust up is as follows:
1. It is binary. That is, if you are a U.S. citizen, you are one of these two: Natural born or naturalized.
2. If you are legally a U.S. citizen, but did not have to go through a naturalization process, you are not a naturalized citizen. That makes you the other type.
And any decision by a court that does not make it this binary is going to seriously mess up our political process for a long time.

From what I understand, Cruz's parents were living in Canada and owned a business for three years prior to Ted's birth. His birth certificate is as a Canadian citizen. They remained in Canada four more years. Ted Cruz is eligible to be president as much as Princess Grace of Monaco's children. In other words, he is not eligible.
