In this case, everyone knew ahead of time that the expected outcome would not occur. The party should have done a better job of vetting caucus captains.
However, even so, the various campaigns should have come in and provided help to make sure that laws were followed. So I blame the campaigns for not stepping in and bringing order to the caucuses.
If Cruz is supposed to have such a great ground game, why didn't he have at least one well-trained caucus-goer at each and every caucus to demand that proper procedures were followed?

He obviously has a vested interest in defeating Trump.

Sour grapes out to hurt Trump! I doubt this very much. Our caucus was also packed but very orderly, and I have heard the same from friends who went to caucuses in two other counties. And, by the way, it is okay to wear apparel in support of your candidate, in fact, you are allowed to campaign for your candidate if you wish.

For what its worth, Tim Phares (TBP) is the press director of the organization that released this “article”. So, you can deduce his motives for posting it and if you do a search on him, you’ll notice that everthing posted by him and his organization is based on an obvious “cookie cutter” formula - repeat the same stuff over and over again, change a few odd things and you have a new press release. Tim’s been a busy boy lately.
