Katrina vanden Heuvel is depending on a fantasy scene from a fiction movie happening in real life.

Katrina is a limousine leftist married to a USSR fanboy. She drags out an obvious (to lefties) comparison and thinks she's deep. How about comparing Hillary to Cruella DeVille.

The wicked witch of the west?
To: PJ-Comix
The TDS crowd on FR made that comparison about six months ago. Whoever this person is she should at least try to be original.

Just when I am convinced that Trump is a liberal plant intended to once again pull the wool over the eyes of conservatives, they throw this red meat in front of me. (which actually reinforces my initial conceptions)

Hillary is Angela Lansbury in THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE.
Trump is more like a typical Noo Yawk cabdriver from the Fifties.

Katrina vanden Heuvel is like Stalin.

Really good movie. Vitajex! Katrina vanden Heuvel is a little late to the party though. Others made this comparison months ago.

“The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, was an American professional wrestler.
She was confused.

I compared Trump to Lonesome Rhodes last summer. Anyone that hasn’t seen that movie should do so. The main difference was Andy Griffith was an Arkansas hick while Trump is a New York City slicker.

It's ridiculous. Trump is Trump.
He is on record, and behind the scenes saying the same things.
Like him or hate him, he's not a phony. And he doesn't "hate" his followers/supporters.
Hillary and Bill, too, have said things like Lonesome Rhodes.
"A couple of years ago, this guy (Obama) would be serving us coffee."
To be MORE blunt, maybe even closer to Michael Richards.
"Fifty years ago, we'd have guys like you (blacks) upside down, with a pitchfork in your ass."

That movie is often on TCM. You don’t have to be a senior citizen or classic movie enthusiast to have seen it. Of course before this presidential race, people often compared Rhodes to Rush also.

I thought Greta Van Sustren, who was on the same panel, did a pretty good job of pushing back on the whole notion.
