I hope it is because they truly have changed to being more conservative and less liberal. My fear is that some just want to do the Democrat version of operation chaos, and some identify with Trump’s more liberal views.

Unfortunately the only way to know is to use Pelosi’s method of voting for it to find out what’s in it.

Sounds like they are COMING TO THEIR SENSES THERE...as they will in much of the Northeast and Midwest, now that they have TRUMP to vote for.

It's the only chance they'll have for their vote for Trump to mean anything. MA will go democrat in the general election regardless of how they vote in November.

My town in Massachusetts is more blue collar than most of the other Boston suburbs. If Trump gets more votes than Hillary it portends a November wave.

DO NOT BET ON IT...Reagan won that state and its demographics are almost the same now (unlike much of the country).

Trump may not win, but at worst he’ll come DAMN CLOSE.

If Mass. goes to the Republicans, the race isn't close enough for it to matter.

it’s Massachusetts. I own a home in Waltham. Elizabeth Warren is considered a moderate.

“If Mass. goes to the Republicans, the race isn’t close enough for it to matter.”

That is certainly true!

Rush started to discuss this today (I,e, agreeing with me that there is no way anyone with such high “unfavorables” can poll this way-—unless, as I have said all along they are meaningless “show biz” unfavorables.

It’s like saying “we hate the governor” and give him overwhelming majorities.

I suspect in the coming days Rush will get more deeply into this. Either “unfavorables” or polls/elections are wrong. They can’t both be accurate measures.

No, Trump has been on a very popular radio talk show for months and months, ‘The Howie Carr Show’.

People are fed up with the fake GOP status quo and so see Trump as someone who will actually follow through on his words.

Lots of Reagan Republicans in MA.

“have you talked to people on the street?
I don’t think these folks are spoilers, I think they identify with Trump’s plain talk”

These might be the invisible-for-years centrist part of the Democratic party, now scared to death of Hillary and, representing the future ideology of the Democratic party, if not it’s actual future, Bernie Sanders.

I’m sure that there were many Dems who held their noses and voted the last few times, much like Republicans did.

Thanks for your reply.

>>>see Trump as someone who will actually follow through on his words.

But if his words keep changing, why do some people trust what he says today?

Sorry D-fendr, love ya but we don’t see eye to eye on this. I assume you are a Cruz supporter and I too will support Cruz in the general election if he is the nominee.

I like Trump, always have. Wished for years he would run for Pres. I love the no PC talk and the no bs and the unscripted, self funded campaign.

Repubs have been losers for years unfortunately. Promise the conservative world and give us Obamacare and illegal citizens.

They’re catching the Spirit of what he says, and believe that he’s sincere. They know he’s not a practiced politician, whose words come out all rehearsed and ‘well-greased’.

He’s fighting for the Presidency in the same way that he’s fought in business; it’s what he knows, and lots of folks understand this.
