Beck does not say he would stab Trump, or attempt to.
He was joking about stabbing Stu, who was at their studio, making fun of what Beck had just said, and that was Beck's response to Stu.
Do I think it is a good idea in this sensitive day and age to joke like that, No.
But it wasn't a threat to Trump. That may be something a person (not me) might say when joking with a close friend, but not on a live radio broadcast.

Yeh suddenly when the Secret Service showed up and it got real Beck was just kidding with Stu. Yeh that’s the ticket. :-)

I get that you are just trying to do your best to distance your favored candidate from the lunatic Beck, but this is just more weasel word posturing and obvious backpedaling. Why in the world would Beck be joking about stabbing Stu? It’s clear what Beck’s “joke” was in reference to.
Glen is so out of his mind...what he thinks should be taken with a grain of salt. He literally (sadly) has brain damage and I think it is getting worse.
In regards to his “joke” evidently the Feds are not sure of that, they are investigating this. I think they should, even if Beck would not repeatedly stab Trump by saying violent things like that he encourages violence, something out of character for him in the past.

I've listened to the audio 3 times, read the transcripts, watched the video of it twice.
I still can't see where Becks comments were aimed at Stu. Makes no sense (which is not surprising with Beck) since the entire exchange was obviously about Trump.
Glen acts schizophrenic. He must be off his meds. His program is completely bizarre and has been for almost two years. Feel sorry for Pat and Stu, but they have bills to pay. They made a big committment to move to Dallas with the bosd. Wouldn’t be surprised if they are job shopping.
I used to like her. She is a sell out like the rest of talk radio. Talk radio did a lot to counter the MSM but when these talking heads get big paydays the money is more important. It’s human nature, I guess.
