If Trump Is So Awful, Why Are His Kids So Awesome?

The Libs will say that the could afford the best child care & schools.

The leader of that effort was Mitch McConnell, helped iirc by (now lobbyist) Trent Lott and the younger Barbour.

It was one of the most scurrilous campaigns in U.S. senatorial history, directed by the party leaders against a Tea Party Republican.

I'm pretty sure you aren't talking about Laura Bush and Nancy Reagan .... or Maureen Reagan (who died of melanoma behind her knee where she couldn't see). Amy Carter was a piece of work, one of the Ford children (Stephen) had problems but the Ford boys were pretty clean-looking, healthy young men. Nixon's daughters married well, and Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg was a talented young woman who also married well; it was a shame about her brother but she's aged well and had a pretty good life so far.

The Bush twins had their escapades but were good-looking girls (enough to attract a creep who tried to stalk/harass one of them, but not for long!), which leaves for discussion purposes Chel and the Obama girls. Both have been out of the spotlight, Chel choosing to "lean in" suicidally the last three or four years, taking part in her felon mother's campaigns. She's going to get burned, but hell, do I really care? (No.)
