Christopher Monckton, 3rd Viscount Monckton of Brenchley, who advised Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, wrote for the Yorkshire Post, was managing editor of the Telegraph Sunday Magazine, has lectured at faculty level on currency theory and is now a columnist for WND, has long given warnings that the over-borrowing governments of the West are on a course to bankruptcy, from which recovery will not be possible.Monckton has now come out with his personal plan to sideline the collapsing dollar and rescue western markets: a sound and fully asset-backed currency called the Texas Talent. Users of the Talent would trade in their dollars for electronic Talents backed by gold, silver, real-estate, and shares in blue-chip companies. Using the Talent will eliminate the risk of global runs on the dollar and protect foreign investments in the United States.
The Talent will bring all these benefits without stepping on the questionable legal authority of the Federal Reserve, for it is not, strictly speaking, a currency at all. It is beyond currency. It is a savings instrument that you can also use for buying goods and services.
Monckton is widely known as a foremost expert in currency matters, and has given numerous interviews on the subject. In a recent commentary, he wrote that dollar collapse is not a matter of whether but when.
More than two years ago, he told the publication WorldNetDaily (WND) that the financial collapse of the West was plausible based on its path at the time. He then adjusted the forecast from plausible and likely to imminent.
Specifically, he believes President Obamas financial policies of unprecedented borrowing and spending, trillion-dollar deficits, and massive outlays for social engineering are an existential threat.

Lord Monckton likes Texas. So does the Queen of England who he works for.
I thinks "talent" of Texas petroleum engineers/oilies already saved nation from collapse planned by the O_btard. "Fracking"
note this statement:
"Texas Governor Abbott has given clear signs that he might approve a plan like the one Monckton has presented. Abbott recently repatriated all of the gold Texas held in trust with the federal government."
I knew they were moving toward that goal, but did not know it was completed
Probably didn’t want the peons to find out
Well, I think it was/is a smart move.
Currency is what the Feds say it is , anything outside that will get you the Waco treatment.
I wanted to marry Lord Monckton. He has the most incredibly perfect grammar ever.
President Kennedy had plans to deal with them. Then, his wife scooped up pieces of his brain in the car
How about calling it the Quatlu
Found this, very interesting.
Anything electronic (currency or otherwise) will be useless when the grid goes down.
Possibly. see my post number 8.
Looks like it is probably live in a testing mode.
He looks weird, but is exceedingly smart. And very articulate.
I have often wondered why the Queen of England was so complementary of Texas. Now I may know why.
Monckton also likes Texas very much. He likes our culture and our sense of fierce independence.
Weird in a British way ;-). Anyway, I love his mind.
Add in conservative states in the general area such as Idaho, Arizona and the remaining Great Plains States in the west and Indiana, Kentucky and the former Confederate States in the south and you are left with a rump collection of urban states which are still greater than a collapsed national socialist government can deal with.
In fact, such a government would have a hard time dealing with giant cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston to Washington in its midst, let alone rescuing fringe enclaves such as Boulder, Denver and possibly even Pittsburgh on its frontiers.
Yes, you can’t eat something that is not there.
My ancestors survived horrible times. They came to this county in the middle of no where, in the Big Nothing, to be left alone. That was in 1889. (the county was divided up in 1885) They were not near stores, banks, civilization. Some of us are still here.
Could we go back to that? Not quickly.
Rural America is largely still somewhat sane.
The degree of self sufficiency is pretty small. Could that be overcome? It depends.
Pretty scary times.
I’m not yet paranoid about it.
I have great respect for his perspective on things. It appears the English Queen does too. I understand this relationship goes back to a time when Monckton’s father helped the Queen’s family.
Queen Elizabeth is a smart woman. I’m sure their families go way back. I seem to remember reading something to that effect.
This video explains the benefits of a new currency and a whole lot more. Until we become literate about who controls the world’s debt economies, we’ll be fleeced, tattoed and tossed on the burn pile over and over:
