The presidential election prospects for the Democrats are so bad this year that only the Republicans can save them — as Republicans have saved them before.
Will a Supreme Court without a single Protestant justice rule that an "under-representation" of any group is evidence of discrimination?
Here is a trick question: What percentage of American households have incomes in the top 10 percent? Answer: 51 percent of American households are in the top 10 percent in income at some point in the course of a lifetime — usually in their older years. Those who want us to envy and resent the top 10 percent are urging half of us to envy and resent ourselves.
His Super Bowl win gave retiring quarterback Peyton Manning his record 200th victory. But it may also have benefitted losing young quarterback Cam Newton, by giving him a very sobering experience after his exhilarating 17 and 1 season. Over the course of his career, Cam Newton may become an even greater quarterback than he would have been without this setback early in his career.
According to the Washington Post, record numbers of college students say that they plan to engage in protests. Our educational system may not teach students much math or science, but students learn from gutless academic administrators that mob rule is the way to get what you want — and to silence those who disagree with you.
Many Americans were not only saddened but angry that Iran publicized photographs of captured American sailors weeping. But do you think that Reverend Jeremiah Wright was saddened and angry? What about his 20-year disciple in the White House? Let us not forget that President Obama voluntarily humbled himself — and America — by bowing to foreign leaders.

Love Thomas Sowell (although I don’t always agree with him). I think he misses the super-elites Luciferean design to destroy Christianity. That has been the beginning effort from the whole “God is Dead” Postmodernist movement that began in Germany and culminated in the Bolshevik/elite/bankers who took over Russian and then proceeded to take over Germany and Europe and then America. Socialism destroys self-reliance and independence and agency. It destroys the moral formation of children raised in such dependent, controlled systems.
Catholic Church has been as infiltrated and deformed (dumbed down) as most of the Protestant religions-—as Bonhoeffer noted in 30s.....even in America. It is a “religionless” Christianity that prevails in Europe and America today if any “Christianity” at all. The kumbaya stuff is all New Age Satanism (earth worship and man is god: Total nihilism).
We need to get back to Objective Truth and Natural Law Theory—the foundation of the US Constitution and Justice System formed on the belief that there is no contradiction in Truth. All religions are not the same or “equal” and the religions which go against Natural Laws (Science/Logic and Common Sense) are evil and never given “Rights” or promoted in a Justice (virtue) System based on Truth and Christ/God. Free Will only came from Christianity and Natural Law Theory (God’s Design of Nature).
As Dostoevsky stated, without God, everything is permissible and that is what we are witnessing. God was ejected and banned from our Public Square and Public Schools using Unjust Laws, so children would be conditioned into believing the most irrational, socialist garbage and moral relativism. Of course, our MSM became a conditioning into evil/moral relativism, also, so the irrational emotions rule everything. Up is Down, Vice is Virtue and Christian Ethics/Right Reason is impossible when lies and disinformation are embedded.
We either return to our true U.S. Justice System with the Supreme Law of the Land—The Constitution of the USA-—or we can continue promoting the irrational Stalin/Satan’s Constitution based on irrational, unnatural slavery and satanism (sodomy). The choice is ours....but we better get educated and make sure our children and grandchildren understand Truth/God, Natural Law Theory (that which created the Age of Reason) and the Christian concepts (Free Will, Individualism (Natural Laws/Duties/Virtue/Love/selflessness) that created the most Free and brilliant culture in all of history.
Knowledge is Power-—always has been about education, but most parents in the USA have allowed BillyAyers-types and Hollywierd (Satan) to shape and control desires in their children to destroy moral formation and understanding of Truth/Reality/Natural Law which takes real human interactions within the Natural Family/relatives/community. (Human interactions to learn virtue (inner control of base emotions/Maturity). Public Schools destroy inner controls—and promote dependency (outer control—dependency is embedded-—the socialist, Inca mindset of Bernie Bots.)
2,350 years ago Aristotle understood that Virtue has to be practiced and habituated in childhood and without Virtue in people-—there is no possibility of Freedom. NONE. Cultural Marxists took over our schools to deliberately destroy Virtue formation in children, removed Classical Christian curricula (that which created the Minds of Newton and Tesla) and created a socialist, dependent, Fear of State (not Fear of God) in our children using operant conditioning of BF Skinner.
Wonder why Liberals seem so irrational and incapable of Reason/using facts. It is because the intellectual part of the brain was deliberately shut down-—destroyed-—Menticided. They will remain “bots’ and Soldiers of Satan, unless they go through intensive re-education camps. Even then, it may be too late for many.
Sorry for this monologue (again) but as usual-—when I get started “thinking’, I can just go on for hours. Everything above is intensely important, for the survival of America, and the saving of Souls (particularly of your children/grandchildren, etc). There is no civilization without a fundamental unified religion......none....and the only Just religion in the history of the world —the one which developed Free Will and Natural Law Theory (private property rights/etc) is the ONLY one which is based on individualism and true freedom.
Individuals always get killed and silenced in socialistic/totalitarian systems, which include ALL other religions/state organizations, without Christianity as its base. You will never be able to be Free without true Christianity as the Base religion-—Never. Either we have Natural Rights from God (the Christian God of Free Will and Love/selflessness) or we have only man-given “rights” which are ALWAYS subjective, so might as well not exist. No irrational, subjective, “free” system can ever exist...it is an oxymoron. It will end up in chaos and tyranny always—and millions killed.

Excellent point...Absolutely not.
Well well well. I have always admired Sowell. But, he is all in for the elites. The argument is not the top 10% or the top 5% or the top 2%. Probably not even the top 1%. The real issue is that most of the economic growth in the US over the past decade and a half has gone to the handful of elites at the very top.
It's everyone who earns a living versus everyone else - top and bottom.
The rare chance of encountering a clear, thoughtful post like your #10 is what keeps me coming back -- in these chaotic, snarky, nearly unrecognizable times on FR!!
We are from considerably different backgrounds, (I'm a graduate of a Baptist university) but it is vividly apparent that the clarity of thought and expression, and dedication to the cause of Christ imparted by your Catholic schooling was a resounding (and, sadly, rare) educational success.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! I found nothing (another rarity) with which to disagree, and found much that was "right on" -- and, personally uplifting!
