Many people who went without health insurance last year are now seeing fines more than double under President Barack Obama’s health care law, tax preparation company H&R Block said Tuesday.
Among its customers who owe a penalty for the 2015 tax year, the average fine is $383, compared with $172 for 2014, the company said.

No, the admin tried to scam people to go along with it by saying it was not a tax.

A product so great you’re forced by law to purchase. And if you don’t purchase it... You’re going to pay... And pay big.
I looked at the Platinum plan. The premiums cost about $4,000 per year for $6,000 deductible plan. If you are perfectly health that is $4,000 down the toilet each year. If you need medical care it is $10,000 down the toilet each year. I might go to a doctor in Mexico and pay cash.
Only $4000? For hubby and I it was $13000 for premiums and then $12000 deductible. And then after all that I think all they paid was 60%.
That’s pure theft. The out of pocket, premiums, and deductibles for a year came to over a third of our income.

We don’t get our insurance thru them thank god but.......you’re right, either way we are paying for it.
It’s reasons like 0-care why I’ve tried to eliminate liberals from as many circles as possible. I really haven’t missed them much.
They would say the same about me until a computer breaks or needs an honest technical answer.
The typical liberal in my experience has seldom been much except empty words, lies, and excuses.
