Ted Cruz is for free market capitalism and against crony-capitalism.

TPP is about a 'crony' as one can get...And yes Ted is for free market capitalism as long as the free goes to corporate America and those who are financing his election(s)...

And, if so, what was the quid-pro-quo for that very-special act that nobody else can get?

And interestingly that huge loan is already paid back...Or maybe it was forgiven...

His mask came pretty much off when he hired Neil Bush and had the GOPe Trump haters meeting with Rubio, Kasich and JEB!.

The guy wears a lot of masks...He pulls one off and there's another right behind it...

“Cruz is a sell out.”
In recent weeks he’s looking like a Trojan horse or some kind of Manchurian candidate.
Conservative firebrand => GOP-e/Uniparty toad

Trump has “ties” with Goldman Sachs as well — many millions of dollars in loans (some of which he didn’t repay), and he’s also an investor. Just as Trump is not evil for working with GS, Cruz is not evil for working with GS.

Most of FR's Cruz supporters have stopped engaging FR's Trump supporters for good reason. Why be the recipient of their free-floating hostility?

Uh huh. Is that why Ted stood up to the crony ethanol lobby in Iowa, and every other Republican candidate, including Trump, bowed down to King Corn?

Is that why Cruz stood up on the floor of the Senate and called his party leader a lier because of the GOPe cop-out on Import-Export Bank?

Cruz and a handful of others are those only ones in political office standing up to the business/government cartel.

Meanwhile, Trump offers us new import taxes to protect some select industries against import competition. Even there, he said last week that that his position was flexible and negotiable.

Trump has been part of the crony system his whole life, but excuses it because he is a business man who puts profit above principle. Not the kind of person I want as president.

I’m with you. This election cycle is especially vitriolic.

I do jot have a problem with Goldman Sachs or with Wall Street. My only problem is with crony capitalism, and I have seen no signs of that in Ted Cruz. Just the reverse. He is the best advocate we have for small, honest government.
