RE: He’s a politician and he’s a lawyer.

And Trump is a politician and a marketing man.... where does that leave us?

IOW, we’ll nominate you no matter how few votes you have as long as you sign your soul away and apologize.

He’ll do it.

Never apologize for doing the right thing ,,,,, it’s a sign of weakness and pandering .

You notice how, when you apologize to leftists and RINOs (but I repeat myself), it never ends it? That the apology is treated as a confession of guilt, and then they REALLY go after you?

Notice how Trump doesn't apologize? How he has the attitude of "Yes, I said it, and I always mean what I say"? And how he's currently ahead? Perhaps Cruz should learn from Trump?

Ted should give the GOPe the apology that it deserves...
one on par with the one he gave to Trump regarding “New York values.”

He should apologize for the failure that the GOPe leadership has been — obeying their K Street masters, and ignoring the promises they made to get elected, but never intended to fulfill.

Mitch McConnell is a liar.

Also a backstabbing, turtle-faced bastard and 0bama’s bumboy.

Ted Cruz is evil. And a liar. And icky. Ick, ick, ick,

I know this because the more passionate Trump supporters tell me so.

No objective evidence supports their claim, but they have to be right.

Because Trump.

Trump says what he means. Cruz does not. Cruz uses lawyer speak to make sure he can do whatever he wants in the end. “I’m going to build a wall and Mexico’s going to pay for it”. That is a very clear statement. He yells is from the roof top almost every day. That’s something you can hold him to. What do we get to hold Cruz to? A bunch of lawyer speak designed for him to do anything he wants and then he can point back to what he said and say, see, you just misunderstood (Or more likely, I haven’t changed at all). I’ve seen it 1000 times by 100s of different politicians and lawyers. He’s another politician filled with BS. You know, with all this talk about stopping Obamacare, why is it even out of committee? WHY?!?! That was the time to stop it, before it started. It’s all a joke!

Nobody seems upset that McConnell lies all the time, just that Cruz said so.

RE: Trump says what he means. Cruz does not. Cruz uses lawyer speak to make sure he can do whatever he wants in the end

Please don’t kid yourself. The moment you enter politics, you either use lawyer speak or sales speak to get whatever you want in the end

An argument can be made that Trump does not say what he means.

Too many to mention.

He was for legalizing drugs before, now he’s against doing it.

He said before that he was pro-choice, now he says he’s pro-life. His current stance became particularly muddled, however, when in the same interview, he responded that “it depends when” in the pregnancy a woman desires an abortion if it should be permissible.

Before, , he was in favor of bans on assault weapons, waiting periods and background checks. He also criticized Republicans on the topic, as he stated that they “walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions.”

Now, Trump states that he is staunchly against gun control, that “the Second Amendment is right, not a privilege,” and that he “do[es] not support expanding background checks.”

Trump claimed that “many of” the Trump university’s instructors were “handpicked” by him. That’s not true. In a 2012 deposition, a top executive for Trump University said that “none of our instructors” was picked by Trump himself.

Trump claims he’s going to be tough on companies that move jobs overseas, but his own products are made in China and Mexico. Do people really think he’s going to crack down on his own businesses?

Donald Trump talks a good game about looking out for American workers, but in practice he has his products made overseas and he hires foreigners over Americans here in the states.

Trump was endorsing Democrats just three years ago: Michael Bloomberg is the foremost advocate of gun control in the United States and Bill De Blasio is an open Marxist. BOTH ENDORSED BY TRUMP.

Just a few samples of disproving your statement about “Trump saying what he means”

The reality is — Trump is going to say what he wants you to hear in order to get what he wants.

It’s called a sales pitch, he’s a master at it and it seems to be working on many people ( NOT ON ME ).

All for show to keep up the Cruz/outsider meme.

Seems like.

We wondered why he wasn’t getting endorsements from his senator buddies. It didn’t make sense, and now it does!

People who work with and for Trump, like and respect Trump. People who work with and for Cruz, don’t like or respect him.

Very telling!

Must be a Cruz fan, wall of text. I don’t care. I know what a politician is and I want to see something different. Moreover, I want the politicians to understand that they don’t get to decide the fate of the world without the input of citizens. Trump changed his mind from years ago. I should hope so. Unless he’s Jesus the Christ then he has a lot to learn and anyone who hasn’t learned something new and anyone who isn’t able or willing to change their minds shouldn’t be President. When the facts change or my understanding changes I change my mind...What do you do? Finally, what I meant by Trump saying what he means is is that he says what he wants. He doesn’t worry about peoples reactions and how it will play amount Hispanics, or Whites or Blacks or women. He says what he means and may the chips fall where they may. I’m sick of hearing people parrot the same talking points. Great, we get it, Israel is an Ally.

Out of curiosity, why do you tell people about being Pro life or the 2nd amendment (as examples). Is it because you want to show that you’re better than them or is it so you can convince them to see things your way? How shameful it is of those who try to convince people to change their minds and when they do you use it against them for the duration of their lives.

[[Apologizing to McConnell for calling him a liar last year on the floor of the Senate.]]

Soooo lemme get this straight, they want Cruz to apologize for telling the Truth Before they will allow him to be supported? Doesn’t speak very well to the honesty of the GOPE now does it?

“Doesn’t speak very well to the honesty of the GOPE now does it?”

You’re kidding right? You should NEVER use the word “honesty” and “GOPe” in the same sentence. These a$$holes have built a house of cards on being cheats and liars. If nothing else occurs this year but the total collapse of the GOPe it will be the biggest political thing to happen in my 75 years.
