Cruz may have the last laugh here. If he ends up teaming up with Trump, then he is well positioned for 2020 or 2024, as the case may be, and the GOPe may have a very hard time withholding even tepid support for the ticket.

Great. Let him continue to split the vote with Cruz while Trump plays chess in Utah and Arizona.

Kasich is secretly on Team Trump. I'm convinced of it.

The purpose of this ad is to deny Cruz a 50% share of the vote in Utah.

If Cruz gets 50%, then Utah is WTA delegates. Cruz gets them all.

Cruz will win Utah, no doubt. The critical question is "Can he exceed 50%?"

ROTFLMAO! Is that graphic an original? Or did you find it with a graphics search engine?

It is pure genius.

Those 66 Ohio votes will be Trump's in the end.

On other posts, I've already pontificated on why Kasich is a strategic VP selection, and I think the fix is in. Whether I'm right or not, we'll have to wait and see.

LOL Exactly! This is so ridiculous, you couldn’t make it up. This makes Romney look foolish. If Trump gets to the number, he can forget even going to Cleveland.

I don't think that is out of the consideration, that is for sure. Kraut has maintained this all along.

That is the cloth Vice President's are cut from. Krauthammer has maintained that Kasich has been running for Vice President from the get go, his plan being to be King Maker at the convention. Kasich has the loudest voice if he can deny Trump the 1237 and have the delegates necessary to put him over the top.

Romney is a two-timer and a two time loser to boot.

Yup. If Cruz had any sense or morality and ethics, he would have rejected Romney due to Romney’s sleazy insults to a guy (Trump) who supported and campaigned for him four years ago. It’s disgusting, and yet Cruz is in bed with this whore. Cruz and Romney: two snakes.

I haven't seen Krauthammer in a while, so I don't know. Just observing what is going on, it seems clear to me. The ticket will be Trump/Kasich. Again, we'll wait and see.

One thing I'm absolutely certain of is that the convention will result in Cruz walking away with nothing.

It's one of the reasons I've been advocating for him to make a call to Trump and make a deal. Judiciary. Executive Branch appointment. Something.

The sooner he makes the call, the better deal he can make. If he lets it go until he has no choice, Trump will not waste political capital within the party on an unpopular and marginally effective Senator from a safe state.

I seriously doubt that, Kasich is all about Kasich in my opinion. I think he really believed they would rally around him and hoist him into the Presidency and the party be damned. I think he now has a clue as to what his role was. Deny Trump the WTA 66 delegates that was up for grabs in Ohio. Cruz had zero chance of overtaking Donald, so it had to be Kasich. Now that he is no longer needed he is dropped like the fool he can't even see that he is. A useful idiot, nothing more and now he is upset that he has been betrayed and made to look like an idiot.

Romney is supporting Cruz for two reasons, keep him in the race, and keep his deluded belief he can be the nominee alive. At the Convention, Romney will dump Cruz, and back Kasich,

I think ( and hope ) you’re wrong, because K-sick as VP would be worse than RR having to be saddled with GHWB as his VP. K-sick is a Democrat on immigration, just like Cruz is on trade! I don’t want to see Trump with either of these two quislings.

Who knows whom the dirty Mitt Romney will back. Maybe tomorrow he will back Kasich again. Media should ask who is it and why the change of heart. Bribe or blackmail?
