Regardless, I still think it was outrageous that a child be encouraged to participate in that way...To fast for a purely spiritual reason is one thing, but for politics...really?
I found the whole sermon by Beck very disturbing, and frankly, I don’t know how Ted Cruz, a supposed “born again Baptist” abides by the Mormon end-time prophecies being ladled on him if he has a conscience.

That’s another reason why Cruz couldn’t attract the people Trump can. Trump appeals to more people needed to come over to win the election.
