If Ted has the most votes FROM THE VOTERS to be the nominee, I would be more than happy to support him.

It appears that it does not matter what happens at the GOP convention, brokered, contested, won on the first ballot.
The GOP cannot win an election when the supporters of the candidates with the top 2 delegate counts will not vote for the other.
There will be plenty of clear consciences for the following 4 or 8 years.
Or as has happened in every election cycle since I’ve been a freeper (class of 2001) that most of those saying they will sit will pull the lever for the one with R next to their name.

Well, in YOUR case, that’s as predictable as knowing that night wifi come later in this day.
I, however, WILL not only vote for Trump should he get the nomination but will support his campaign (allbeit without great enthusiasm) and work for his victory. I’m sure the great bulk of Cruz supporters will do the same.
By the way, Governor Scott Walker has just endorsed Ted Cruz.

Every time I read Cruz’s words, all I can hear is Romney’s voice speaking.
I think Cruz is now dealing under the table for the VP slot under Romney or Jeb.
Ted could add: “... except for those crazy Freepers, of course”.
If he gets the “magic #” 1,237, I’ll vote for him. Otherwise, no.
A pointless exercise because at a contested convention the GOPe ain’t handing the presidential reins over to Cruz. There are other more reliable puppets they can rely on.

I agree with the prevailing wisdom that if Trump does not get to 1237, the GOPe is NOT going to hand the nomination to Cruz.
Therefore I will be boycotting Paul Ryan or somebody.

My vote wouldn’t be enough to make him win. I don’t think Ted has the people magnet needed to draw votes from Hillary’s camp. Trump will draw votes from her. The GOPe thinks they can win against Hillary with a GOPe, they won’t, but they can live with it, so long as their apple ($$$$$) cart remains in the standing mode.
I could vote for Trump, Huckabee, or Santorum. That's about it.
