Why the hell was he free, roaming around the country, and not locked up or executed already? He'd given every indication he was oriented toward killing cops, not to mention his clear pattern of violent, non-stop predatory behavior...

He’s already been in prison, and said he’d never go back, did you miss the part about him being shot dead?
So, we have a felon. Who should not have a gun, it’s against the law. Crosses state boarders without a permit to conceal, again that’s against the law too. Then shooting a cop and other, oh yeah, against the law too.
Clearly, we need more laws against gun violence. They work so well. /s

Murders are already up 94% year over year, so just doubling the murder rate isn't going to be difficult.
By this time last year, Chicago Police had already made some 157,000+ "investigatory stops" in Chicago. Thus far, they've made about 20,000 of the same, for the same point in time.
No wonder crime has shot up so dramatically this year huh?
But then, this is what happens when the public and politicians gang-up on the police and criticize every single action that they take due to the bad actions of a very few.

I live outside of Chicago, and I call it the Murder Capital of the United States every day.
Because that's exactly what it is.
Some will try and argue "per capita" stats with me thinking that's the argument I'm using, however I'm not.
Based on pure, raw number of murders in Chicago, it leads the country.
Thus my calling it the Murder Capital of the United States. (I do that when I close every amateur radio call I make on air, which prompts people world-wide to look at my QRZ page, for which I've about 10,000 lookups now.)
