Former Colorado GOP Chair Ryan Call spoke with Laura Ingraham today to explain the delegation-selection process in the state. Call told Ingraham:
The very time we should be opening up our doors and being more open and transparent, and welcoming people into our Party, weve essentially made the decision to close it off and make it more cumbersome and more difficult. And, to prevent the ability of people to have their voice heard in this process. Youre reinforcing all of the very worst stereotypes about the Party and I, frankly, am very concerned about the way voters are going to feel.
Of course, the Cruz camp and Republican establishment loves this process. They were able to cheat and strong-arm all the delegates away from Trump to Ted Cruz which makes a brokered convention more likely.
Its the Ted Cruz way.
Real Clear Politics reported:
Former Colorado state Republican party chairman Ryan Call talked to Laura Ingraham today to explain the delegation-selection process works and how it cuts out any semblance of democracy or the popular will. Call said the statewide convention that chooses the delegates reinforces all the worst stereotypes of the party.
The very time we should be opening up our doors and being more open and transparent, and welcoming people into our Party, weve essentially made the decision to close it off and make it more cumbersome and more difficult. And, to prevent the ability of people to have their voice heard in this process. Youre reinforcing all of the very worst stereotypes about the Party and I, frankly, am very concerned about the way voters are going to feel, Call told Ingraham.

The thing I want to know is how the Canadian was able to know that it would have come down to him and THE DONALD™ almost a year ago. Maybe PRESIDENT TRUMP should hire the Canadian to run the CIA with those prognostication skills.

I’m amazed at how many Freepers are defending this tyranny by the CO GOP.
Actually, I’m amazed that any are.

.
The CO delegates were originally slated to all go for Jeb Bush. There wasnt chance in the world that they were going anywhere else.
No one planned for Jeb to be sidelined, but Trump did it anyway.
So Jeb dropped out.
Since he has suspended his campaign, they needed an insider to be a place holder for the delegates and that turns out to be Cruz, who will control those delegates until the Convention, then, after a few slight of hand tricks, they are slated to go back to Jeb, or maybe Mitt.
Cruz will never get to enjoy the delegates at the convention.

Im amazed at how many Freepers are defending this tyranny by the CO GOP. I don't know ANYBODY who is defending this tyranny by the CO GOP.
The point is that they put that tyranny in place back last August. So that the delegates could be steered toward ¡Yeb!
So be angry, but be angry at the correct target.

This rule change was not passed in a general election, but by 16 people in a party committee. Colorado repubs who care have been screaming about this ever since last Aug., basically being told to ‘shut up and follow those of us in party leadership.’ I am a Coloradan who is endorsing no one yet, BUT I AM TIRED OF THIS PARTY (GOP) only practicing machine politics. Recall them all. Im done with Colorado GOP. You elite make me sick. “We this people ...” is what our soldiers died for ...

I don't know ANYBODY who is defending this tyranny by the CO GOP. Are you kidding? The Cruzor Losers are cackling about their great "victory" and telling anyone who complains to quit whining, it's the "rules". To hell with the GOP and their latest shill Cruz.

I am disgusted by the GOP establishment with their killing off the Republican party as being the defacto conservative political choice.
And as for Cruz - although I had previously supported him, thinking him to be honest, ethical and constitutionally minded - I’ve had it with craven vote stealing dishonest stunts.
The GOP establishment Traitors are hell bent to put Hillary in office.

jeesh...get a grip
you need to understand that this is Trumps theater. He’s not really outraged. He just doesn’t want you to know he failed at the process.
If you knew he failed it would tarnish his image of a good manager. It you notice every time he gets beat he doesn’t congratulate the winner...he yells cheater.
In iowa he know Cruz didn’t do anything wrong..Heck his crew was telling carson’s people the same thing Cruz’s people were saying...next morning to change the narrative of him losing....he was cheated. not only him but his pedophile buddy was cheated.
the moral of the story is calm down. no need for blood..no need to get mad...we all agree the process is crazy but it was in place for over 8 months and your guy failed. If you want to get mad get mad at the guy manipulating you. The guy that is lying to get you mad...so mad you want to hurt someone.
better yet grow up

If I were Trump I would publish the names, home addresses, phone numbers, and a photo of every Colorado Republican who had anything to do with eliminating the need for a primary vote full page ads in every newspaper in the state and set up a web site with the information and urge everyone to contact them, preferably in person, to let the know how they feel about taking away their right to vote.

I'm sure Roger Stone is doing that even as we speak.
