At the last minute, officials at the State University of New York at New Paltz curtly canceled a planned campus debate between a notable left-wing media critic and a notable right-wing media critic because the right-wing media critic has right-wing views.
The last-minute cancellation of the debate between Jeff Cohen of Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting and Cliff Kincaid of Accuracy in Media occurred on March 30, the day it was scheduled, reports Campus Reform.

The left is for free speech as long as they get to tell you what to say.
Feels good and is definitely good for one's business but it's a whisper in a whirlwind as far as the universities are concerned. Something more energetic is needed to remedy the situation.
Maybe an annual publication of nation’s most intolerant colleges and universities...kind of like what Forbes, US New and World Report does for academics etc..

Aren’t these the folks promoting “diversity?” I guess they might tolerate the diversity between Marx and Lenin in a debate.
Eleven and a half years ago it trickled down to me (a retired Mailman) to take the conservative side against a very liberal professor at SUNY Fredonia. About 400 people in attendance. They would have discussions like this once or twice a year. But not quite this large of an audience.
When we finished with a standing ovation, I told the powers to be that I would be available at anytime to do it again. My opponent said that I would be the first one they would think of.
They haven’t had one since!
This is but one example (global warming is a big one.)

The left can’t handle, or answer, opposition because they are bereft of any rational defense.
When the debate ended, Leary got polite applause. But Liddy got wild applause. Liddy had turned that audience completely around!
The left just will not take a chance on anything like that happening today.
Liberals are the fascists they accuse conservatives of being.
Left wing ideas don’t hold up well against our ideas...
The leftist solution is to shout us down, deny us the soapbox, or lie about us to their thugs in the press...
