I have heard her sing and to me she is annoying but there are lots of people who are tone deaf and she has made a lot of money from them.

Yep. Used to be even being a ‘one hit wonder’ could net you a decent car and some residuals for life. Now that ‘hit’ is on 50 million Ipods and phones in China in a week and you see nothing.
