Trump easily wins Oregon Republican race (Welcome new votes from Camp-Bernie)
Portland Tribune ^ | May 18, 2016 | Geoff Pursinger

Donald Trump further cemented his claim after winning big in Oregon on Tuesday ....promising during his Eugene rally to carry the state during the general election. If Trump manages that feat, he’d be the first Republican to win Oregon in the general election since Ronald Reagan in 1984.

“Congratulations to THE MOVEMENT,” Trump tweeted... “We've just won THE GREAT STATE OF OREGON. The vote percentage is higher than anticipated! Thank you.” [67%]

William Joseph Fields ... was a LIFELONG DEMOCRAT before he SWITCHED HIS PARTY AFFILIATION ...TO SUPPORT TRUMP.

“I was a complete and utter Bernie supporter,” he said standing outside Trump’s Portland office, sporting long hair, a beard and a “Make America Great Again” T-shirt. “… It’s crazy, man. The more I dug, the more truth I found about the situation.”

Fields supports Trump largely because of his economic ideas. “With Trump, he’s sounding a bit more coherent and logical … We’ll have a growing GDP, ... he said. “Trump makes sense, not just in the short term, but in the medium-to-long term.”

Fields said he couldn’t support the Democratic candidate, even if he had stayed a Democrat. “‘Hitler-y’ is a criminal,” Fields says, referring to Clinton. “She belongs in prison.”

“This summer, it’s all on the table (between Clinton and Trump),” he said. “He’s literally going to grind her into little bits and pieces. I don’t want anybody to be met with violence, but it’s obvious to me that there is no way she can beat Trump. If her and her New World Order cronies try to tip the table on Trump, this will be the second great revolution. I feel it in my heart. I don’t want it to happen. The left and right have more in common than we don’t. We’re all in this together.”

Wow Dude, HIPPIES FOR TRUMP! Fields deserves a great deal of respect for speaking out. He has a deep-seated revulsion to the Clinton crime machine and had the nerve to go on record in Portland, OR. He's done his research and realizes that they (NWO) steal elections. Fields is talking CWII if she steals this 2016 election. Fields needs to spread the word at CampBernie and show them the path to victory IS voting in November for Trump. Oregon's conversion to a republican state would be remarkable and a rebalancing point of the scales of political power.

I purposefully excerpted more of the later half of the article to capitalize on this former democrat- Mr. Fields. His decision is representative of what needs to happen in swing states in order for Donald Trump to win 2016 and the republican party to survive in the future.

Trump needs the conservative vote, the republican vote, the independent vote, and as many cross-over democrats that he can attract. Make purple->RED again. Make blue->RED after 32 years? only Trump can do it!

For Mr. Fields, it's about economic issues. Others will drop their democrat party affiliation because of the threat of security (terrorism) and open borders. And they will vote Trump. Hopefully they will also vote for republicans on the down ticket, as well. Maybe once Trump earns their vote, they stay with Trump's prosperity and the republican party.

Trump has pretty much left Bernie alone but if needed a case to demolish his nutty ideas, Trump need only focus on how Venezuela is a real life case study of Bernie’s economic ideology.

Hippies for Trump...

Why would that be surprising? Normal people in the 1960s (hippies or not) had nothing but disdain for those who sold out to the establishment. The Clintons and most of the others who got to the top are not good representatives of our generation. People such as Dan Quayle, Steven Forbes, Dennis Kucinich who are TRUE TO THEMSELVES tend to earn the respect of most of my generation. Interesting that all three were marginalized, isn't it?

My Venezuelan friends emigrated around 15 years ago. V. once had a flourishing prosperous great economy.

Bernie supporters have their heart in the right place, but they need an education on the reality of governmental systems. A movie would do the trick and wake the majority. They have no idea what they are getting themselves into with socialism/communism.

Steve Forbes would have been a great president.

Wonder if he is interested in VP, he’s 68 years young.

Correct
They need a program where the young get to “ go native” for a month or 2 in Venezula and have to ask permission to come home
See how a diet of rat meat suits their rhetoric

“Congratulations to THE MOVEMENT,” Trump tweeted...

Oooh...Wonder where he got that expression from?

Looks like he has reasserted the TRUMP movement that brought an extra 4 million voters out this primary season. Folks voting for Trump that have never cast a ballot. It is a Trump Movement. Always has been.

Cruz had been trying to ride the coattails and Hijack Trump’s movement-momentum and it is pitiful. When applied to Ted’s dismal voter turnout in Texas and voterless selections in Colorado & Wyoming, his movement is nothing but a rough BM.

Bernie is not a threat to Trump. Trump so far has been playing it well, pointing out democrat corruption, but treating democrats themselves with respect, especially Bernie supporters. After Bernie loses many will be able to consider Trump, and Trump is willing to compete for him.

Did I mis-hear?

I heard that Bernie won Oregon, but The Hildabeast is getting more Oregon delegates.

Were I a (D), that wouldn’t please me...

This Fields guy understands a little about the economy. The Sanders people don’t. Hopefully most of the Sanders people will see in Hillary what this Fields guy sees and stay home if nothing else.

Steve Forbes is extremely talented and Sec. of Treasury would be a great place for him to serve. Like Donald Trump, he is trustworthy because he has no need to accumulate more personal wealth.

Trump & Forbes would serve America for altruistic reasons and patriotism, alone.

Bernie wins the state; Hillary pockets the delegates. Rinse, repeat.

We must admire his tenacity and energy (out-paces jeb).

However, Bernie is too well educated and mature to actually believe in Socialism as the answer to America’s problems.

Forbes did not possess that ‘horn-dog’ look in his eye and the wink that attracted women voters to Clinton.

Besides, we all knew it was Dole’s turn in the GOP line-up.

This margin/% was virtually unreported in the TV/online/radio/newspaper media, because they know it would only give more momentum to Trump.
