ANYONE can report the activity to the local bar’s disciplinary board.

Thanks for that info -- I didn't realize a non-party to the grievance could do so.

Now that I think about it, I remembered: the Southeastern Legal Foundation filed the complaint against Bill Clinton.

Clinton ultimately accepted a 5-year suspension and a $25,000 fine from the Arkansas bar, and resigned from the US Supreme Court bar to avoid further penalties.

Are there any attorneys out there that are willing to file complaints against the US DoJ lawyers, "pro bono"?

I guess the judge never heard of “contempt of court”.

p.s. Only the bar association can disbar.

Who can initiate disbarment proceedings?

why not order them fired for lying to the court

Fired?

They need to get a visit from Mr. Wilson Blair.

These lawyers will never go to the classes.

They are laughing their asses off at this judge.

Wow, can’t believe all the posts ragging on this judge. He’s fantastic, and single-handedly took down the executive order amnesty in a dogged and brilliant legal fight. To complain about this ancillary order is like winning the powerball lottery and complaining about the fact you had to drive down to pick up your winnings.

Justice, ethics, and the Obama “administration” are all mutually exuclusive terms.

Trump needs to play this up......they lied, fabricated, misled, overlooked, and covered-up.

The same legal ethics at work in the Hillary crimes investigation.

I suspect/wonder if congress can impeach the lot. Something real should be done about the crooks in DC.

Complaints need to be filed with the state bar. If they’d get enough or it seems egregious enough they will investigate. Anyone can file a complaint. Be sure to tie it to some violation of the cannon of ethics. You can use this case as example

I read a different article which contained more information. It said that there was a separate order affecting the lawyers who misled the judge.

The lawyers are allowed to be in this judge's court room sort of by invitation. (I forget the legal term.) The judge has reportedly removed that permission for those lawyers. This order would apparently apply in all 26 states which were plaintiffs in the case.

Some lawyers might be able to shrug off being banned in half the states but there might be others for whom that is a punishment. We can only hope.

Thanks, that’s interesting and at the very least it’s what they deserve.
