I was still talking about this night six months later. A few lines from a June 2007 Gchat transcript distill the story of 2016—the divide between what the political press thinks is important and what normal people actually want. It’s just that, back then, the conflict was not playing out at huge rallies and polling places, but inside my brain.

This "mash note" to both Shrillary and Bernie is interesting for the little revelations about what goes on between 'Rat politicians and supine journalists who worship them.

It is definitely vomit-inducing but stands as a document of our times. The author is what passes for a "Senior Editor" now at the liberal rag The New Republic.

I found this piece disturbing because the woman is a senior editor at this publication, and this was written as though by a high school girl chasing down her favorite pop star. I don't know if the media acts this way at Republican events, sucking up and tossing out compliments, or not. You may say they don't do that at a Republican event because they are liberal, and that makes sense, but they could schmooze up to the right people for a story and toss them under the bus later. I doubt it's to this extent though, if if happens. The media members were probably right at home at that event.

A few tidbits on Bernie I found interesting. First, he ate green beans "straight from the buffet." If that means what I think it means, yuck! Second, he apparently likes to toss out the F-bomb. Third, and this is really my only take away from the article:

Typical socialist right there, and it gives you an idea of how he would govern.
