A month ago, Hillary Clinton had a big lead in national and battleground state polls. Today, she has a modest lead at best. A few surveys even show Donald Trump ahead.
What happened?
What's clear is that Mrs. Clinton's challenge isn't totally superficial. Just 20% of Mr. Sanders's supporters have a favorable view of Mrs. Clinton in the most recent NY Times/CBS News survey, while 47% have an unfavorable one.
These numbers are not too different from the "anyone but Trump" voters in March. Then, The NY Times/CBS survey found that just 17% of Republican primary voters who didn't support Mr. Trump had a favorable view of him, while 50% were unfavorable. Depending on your point of view, it's either a surprisingly bleak comparison or a favorable precedent, since Mr. Trump has since made gains in the polls.
Mrs. Clinton could get a lot of help in unifying the party, whether from President Obama, Elizabeth Warren or perhaps even Mr. Sanders himself.

They ran a fake no-name candidate against her, to make it look like she was in a real campaign...
and the fake no-name candidate is winning. That tells you all you need to know about how popular she is among Dems.
Because of the nature of the Clinton Machine, no one dares to oppose her openly. But they vote with their feet and their cheers for the guy they propped up there to make it look like a real opponent.
She will win the nomination, because it was pre-ordained that she would. To beat Trump, though, will require major felonies.
This sounds more like a pep talk rather than anew article. They are still trying to keep Hillary in the lead and convince themselves victory will be easy as she rallies the Bernie people behind her candidacy.
She’d probably be in better shape if she hadn’t been SOS.....cuz she’s DOA.

I think one of the things....among many..... that stopped her cold was the incessant videos, aired over and over again, of a smiling, upbeat, effervescent Hillary at the podium.
She would not allow her comments to be aired.....just herself, happy, smiling, upbeat, rifling thru her notes at the podium.
She must have felt being a popular speaker would advance her political ambitions.
Americans later found she was getting huge speaking fees for speaking a few words she would not even allow Americans to hear.
As matter of alternate history, just think about what it would have been like if G.H.W. Bush had been on his game and had really pursued reelection in 1992. He wins, Bill Clinton loses, and he and Hillary go back to AR and are never heard from again. How the world would have been better rid of these folks!

Mr. Sanders himself....seems unlikely.
The Fake Indian.....well, Hil would have to backtrack on just about everything she’s promised Wall Street. They might demand a refund of their speaking fees.
