The following is a direct quote from Ann Coulter's 2009 book Guilty.
In Whitewater, homes were offered for "sale," the purchase price to be paid in installments. But if a purchaser defaulted on a single monthly payment, there would be no foreclosure proceeding: The purchaser would automatically lose everything invested in the property--the house, the equity, and all prior payments. The small print of the contract said that if a monthly payment was not made within 30 days, all prior "payments made by the purchaser shall be considered as rent for the use of the premises."
The Clintons always loudly boasted that they didn't put any money into Whitewater, as if that fact proved they had clean hands. But Hillary Clinton created the Whitewater Development Corporation, wrote the fine print, and ran it out of the Rose Law Firm.

She is about a mile from my home today it stinks like red tide here
......imagine that !!!
More than half the people who bought Whitewater lots lost their money this way. Contracts like this are lliegal in many states but not in Arkansas https://books.google.com/books?id=rsQ14C2MX7EC&pg=PA109&lpg=PA109&dq=whitewater+monthly+payment+was+not+made+within+30+days&source=bl&ots=UMX24vaxby&sig=RtfyzDZ7P7se_qLvsUoa9EKKFZg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjIg5e6zvXMAhUIcz4KHflSBB8Q6AEIKzAC#v=onepage&q=whitewater%20monthly%20payment%20was%20not%20made%20within%2030%20days&f=false
That’s not a strange clause though, believe it or not. I’ve seen it before at some of my old clients. It’s used to be able to “evict” dead beats who are essentially squatters. I suspect, though I don’t know, that these houses weren’t exactly palatial mansions, but lower income spots there were apt to be in default?
At any rate, my point is, that this is easy for them (her) to walk balk and/or explain away. “Oh, it’s standard fine print, but we never actually implemented it, etc....”
Unless that’s untrue, there’s nothing here.
I’d ask Hillary to specify - exactly who are these creditors that Trump ‘fleeced’? Surely one of them would come forward. Its chapter 11.
Doing another event with union people, not regular Americans. Cankles is scare to face the hoi polloi.
I wonder if any protesters will burn flags and chant in foreign languages and generally run amok. Oh wait, only the lefties do that. Never mind.
You know that the Donald’s war room has this one primed and ready to fire when required. Hillary, even with all her media protection will think she has run into a buzz saw when she tangles with Trump.
I’m to your north in Ventura County,
Looks like she’ll keep her stench away from us up here in BLUE Country.
Did they read the installment contract? Did they subsequently fail to make a payment? It's a nasty contract, to be sure, but they agreed to the terms and signed it. So they screwed themselves.
Boy, I hate to give the Hildabeast any slack, but...
