At a Clinton event near Los Angeles, impatience is palpable as supporters await her arrival. The playlist (Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez...) runs on an endless loop, and a sigh of dismay courses through the auditorium when a seventh speaker steps up to the microphone. Hillary Clinton arrives 45 minutes late.......................What a contrast!

"There's nothing much more he could actually want in his life: he has a ton of money, he's really famous, he has a beautiful family, so he's really doing it for us, the American people," says Joe, 25, a university student who declines to give his last name..................That's how I feel...

Typical elitist. Making the masses wait for her arrival.
To: mandaladon
That actually can happen... you can be so successful people take it for granted and turn on you if you slip up.

And truthfulness? What a rare commodity of theirs.

Typical elitist. Making the masses wait for her arrival. Obama does the same thing. One school of thought is that he does it on purpose to make himself look noble. He is sooooooo busy saving the country that he sometimes runs late.

There will be record turnout on republican side but not overall record due to unenthusiastic turnout on dem/commie side.

...Clinton's controlled appearances ... THAT right there is the BIG DIFFERENCE. Scripted, choreographed, pre-screened, if not outright planted, 'questions', from supposed 'average' people. Tightly controlled attendance of people so no 'protestors' can show her up or call her out, speeches tailored to pander to the people being screeched at, even if it contradicts previous speeches to other groups, and on and on and on...........1992 all over again.........................

On Friday, while Trump was rallying 10,000+ in San Diego, Clinton was having waffles with 50 people.
Talking about being late, back in 1992, I went to a Clinton-Gore rally in my hometown. At the appointed time of the start of the rally, it was announced that Clinton and Gore and their wives, would all be late. They made that announcement every 15 minutes for 2 hours. By time they arrived even their supporters were very unenthusiastic about their rudeness of being so late.

And at the Trump rallies the riots outside just add to the excitement and intensity.

Give her a break! You Freepers would be running low on enthusiasm too if you were an old, sick, drunken grandmother ... married to an impeached serial rapist ... under constant attack for a little innocent corruption!

He is showing he will run the government with the same attention as his business.

It’s hard to have enthusiasm for a narcissist’s personal ambition.

Mexican flag waving protesters with signs saying “MAKE AMERICA MEXICO AGAIN” are really the icing on the cake! If I didn’t know any better, I’d say that they were paid by the Trump campaign to show up and do their ‘protesting’..............
