They just may run Jeb for the consultant sweepstakes and to force Trump to quit the race.

This is a good time to point all of the Bernie supporters in Gary Johnson's direction. Many of them would not vote for Trump, but if they can be prevented from settling for Hillary, that would be a good thing.

Ahh yes, Bill Kristol and his ilk. They have told themselves that they are the heartbeat of what true conservatives and GOP voters want.
Now, lets look at the reality. This crow are no more than the neo-useful idiots. They are by of and for the “Inside the Beltway” crowd. Thus, they form their beliefs based on what they are told by those who figuratively hold them hostage inside the Beltway. And who are their kidnappers? Why, its the leftist MSM, its the liberal cocktail set, its the statist allure of the big buildings and fancy talk of DC, a world unto itself.
Unwittingly, Kristol does not realize that his ideal candidate is ideal to the democrat party and the left. That candidate is ideal because it is created to lose. It walks down the middle to the road and gets crushed, it lacks the courage of its beliefs because it has no beliefs, it fights by the rules while being savaged by those who do not, it is cowed and controlled by the MSM the second it gets out of line and dares to “swift boat” the opposition.
Let Mr. Kristol introduce his “strong, impressive” independent candidate. He will find himself a very lonely guy attracting enough voters to be the equivalent of Lindsay Graham’s run for the GOP nomination. I wish him the best and look forward to his rebuke.
