I would assume the same. If it was indeed a report stemming from the ACARS unit, I would think after two emergency landings, they would ground the plane and look into it. If it was something simple like a warning light flickering (which is taken very seriously), they would check it. A lot of times, they find that it is just a simple short circuit in the wiring from constant vibration.

I hope that the French recover the black boxes. I don’t trust the Egyptians to tell the truth about what happened.

well, it’s a safe bet I’m not getting on any airplane with the name EGYPT on it.

Sounds pretty dicey to begin with.

Wasn’t the aircraft a substitute for the originally scheduled plane? Perhaps the original plane had these problems.

shouldnt matter what the passengers want or do not want, thats the capts job to determine safety of the AC.

Not a lot of info on what exactly the faults were that cause E landings, but it had to be something major else they would have just continued on.

I can't believe the airplane would continue to fly after three emergency landings in one day. I would tend to discount such a story

And there it is. Somebody is throwing doubt bombs onto the terrorist theory.

Appears certain details which potentially conflict with the developing narrative are being scrubbed...back on May 20th, Heavy.com posted the following link to the entire flight history of this plane.

Just curious, where are the Black boxes? This story is getting no attention as the media is focused on #Gorillalivesmatter and dirtying up Trump.

When we finally boarded the airplane, again, the pilot announced that a mouse nest was found and removed from an instrument cooling duct.

It wasn't the nest that was the worry, it was the mouse droppings.

After all, Mousy Dung was the cause of the deaths of millions of Chinese...

That said, I just can't imagine a pilot flying an airplane that experienced three emergency landings in one day, without finding the source of the problem.

Not a western pilot.

A muslim? insh'allah...

I wonder if the mechanics just killed the sensor causing the alarm on the third incident.

I’m still going with cyber-hack, a case in which nothing would actually be “as it seems.” If it’s been proven that a passenger can gain access to the flight control system from his laptop (it has), just think about what a nation state can do that has access to satellites and highly specialized, persistent malware (virtualized rootkit technology).

We’ll find out many years from now that high-level scientists in the airline industry knew all along but decisions were made to keep it secret. It’s not feasible to replace all hardware on every airplane, so to avoid an overnight collapse of the airline industry, they’re buying time to find solutions. We’re looking at the equivalency of the 1960’s “tobacco causes cancer” knowledge that was held from the public, except on a much larger scale.

Everyone, go ahead and bookmark this for 2030, when people everywhere will be saying, “Biy, that Nitz was a genius, wasn’t she?” ;-)

Reason #6 why I don’t fly anywhere, anymore, and haven’t since TWA 800 went down, in 1996. If I can’t drive there, I don’t need to go, and I’m not going.

I’ve found that most journalists really are morons. The simply don’t know what they don’t know.

You're on your plane, taxiing out to go to Mom's .... you take off and in the air and some time later the captain announces there is a problem and you're going back

Don't worry .... maybe a 45 minute delay

and you're wondering ... and looking around ... and maybe commenting to the passenger next to you

An hour and fifteen minutes later, you're back on the taxi ramp ... revving .... moving ... taking off and you're in the air again ...Some time later, the captain announces there is a slight problem and you have to make an unscheduled landing for the maintenance guys to look at something .... not to worry .... short delay .... everything is alright .... just want to make sure ...

ARE YOU STAYING ON THIS PLANE ?

You and I have no further conversation because I got up, forced the door open and slid down the chute into the arms of the police ... IDC ... I'm alive.

Even worse is their utter arrogance about it. They look in a mirror and think it's a window.
