I think Bernie is using his support to try to get on the ticket as Hillary’s VP at the convention or he will bring the house down. If she wins the election with Bernie as her VP,I guess I will have to stop hoping an anvil falls on her head if the Vermont communist will replace her at the helm.
I (unfortunately) live in Vermont and what everyone needs to know is this, which is my view of Bernie after watching him for multiple decades at the local, state and federal level:
Bernie is a True Believer. He has a single track mind focused on revolution with very little desire to play politics, kiss butt, collect money, make deals, compromise or advance himself for any reason other than advancing the revolution he desires.
He has not changed his tune in 30 years, he has been banging the same (wrong) drum since he became mayor of Burlington when I was a student there.
On these forums I see people ascribing motives to him that I do not believe are his. He’s not in this to make a lot of money, become VP or anything else unless it can advance his heavily socialist agenda.
He wants what he wants, which is a socialist revolution in this country, and he does not care one whit about who he pisses off or what he burns down to get it.
In my opinion he is far more dangerous than Hillary as his misguided followers can see that intense and unswayable belief in him and they respond to that.
Hillary is vulnerable because she’s a political animal, Bernie is not.
