I don’t know what happened to the numbers last night, but the NYT reports on 1,174,829 vote for Trump.

Early on, like you, I thought it would wind up at least in the 2 million ball park.

FoxNews has it down there too.

Even the Secretary of State site has it pegged at that number.

Somewhere they did a head fake and I completely missed it. I thought you had a chance at being right about 2 million.

Ron Scuzzbuglar of Politics1 has made note of Issa’s poor showing. “Higher turnout in Movember” he tweeets, he was probably licking his lips and drooling.

We got false info on the ‘ votes in’ percentage count. No biggie though as Trump still got the most votes overall ever across the nation for primaries. :-)

Here are the notable races from CA:

CA-1 Doug LaMalfa’s poor showing surprised people, I don’t know what caused it. But he should be safe.

CA-3 I think that John Garamandi has overstayed his welcome, having been in public office since the 70’s. I don’t know if his opponent is strong.

CA-7 This will be the hottest race likely. Both candidates have problems, Ami Bera’s father pleaded guilty to election fraud, while Scott Jones has been damaged by charge of sexual harassment in the Sheriff’s office by his subordinates, in which the plaintiffs won over $3 million.

CD-10 Jeff Denham faces a foe with some name ID, as Michael Eggman’s sister is a local state Senator.

CD-16 Jim Costa may be another politico who’s overstayed his welcome. He’s held elective office since 1978. Here’s to hoping that Trump has coattails there.

CD-24 The GOP was relying on state Rep. Khatchik Achadjian, who has a local following going back to his days as San Luis Obispo Supervisor, even though some conservatives don’t like him. Will they write off the race now?

CA-36 Raul Ruiz is still a local hero, he got glowing press when he saved the life of an airline passenger who was having a heart attack. Will Jeff Stone be able to duplicate his victory for state Senate in 2014?

Been crazy busy all day. Has Hillary or Bernie been declared winner in CA yet? Or are they still counting? Thanks...

Just saw your note. Hillary was declared the winner.

Not sure at what date and time.

Thank you for catching me up on the CA race. Darn, I was hoping Crazy Bernie would make more trouble for Hillary in CA.
