"You mean the rubes actually believe that whole 2nd Amendment thing?"

"Not a problem boss, they think it only applies to law abiding citizens."

"This should be easy. We just make new laws ... Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

He's a Bilderburg attendee.
Beginning to see a pattern with the push for gun control in the US and EU, the kabuki theater/looking the other way at rampant corruption, importation of Muslim "shock troops", threats on Brexit and Eastern Europe, funding of Obama's initiatives, and full court press to squelch a large number of people harmed by policies being carried forward in the US. Not to mention implicit/explicit approval of violence against Trump supporters by our self-styled "betters".

As I've said before "Universal Background Checks" are just the Trojan horse for national gun registration. There is absolutely, zip, zero, nada chance that Universal Background Checks can ever work without a national gun registration system that tracks who owns every gun. The reason of course being, it is virtually impossible to prosecute someone for selling a gun without getting a background check on the buyer if you can't even prove that the seller ever owned the gun in the first place, and unless the buyer is stupid enough to pay with a check or the seller is stupid enough to write out a dated receipt it would be impossible to prove a transaction even took place.

So if the gun grabbers ever do get their "Universal Background Checks" they are suddenly going to "discover" this (they, of course, already know), then their next push will be, "We just discovered those rascally gun owners are just ignoring universal background checks and law enforcement can't do anything because they don't know who owns what. So we now need "common sense" Mandatory Universal Registration to be able to enforce the background check law...it's for the CHILDREN!"

The Traitor class is growing, I guess there is a price for being let off prosecution for espionage and keeping the pension.

This guy is like Benedict Arnold. Past military service is outweighed by later douchebaggery.

Excellent comparison.

Dear Marijuana Dealers:

When the dems legalize it weed prices will drop astronomically.
When the dems make guns illegal gun prices will skyrocket.
Do what you gotta do. My counseling fee payable in RPGs.

One problem I see form the git go is how will you enforce this?

Politicians pass a lot Bills that are simply unenforeceable to begin with. We have seat belt laws but it is no enforceable, if the police catch you then it’s a ticket, otherwise no. Same with cell phone use and texting, those come to light after a wreck not before most of the time. The list goes on and on.

People will continue to buy and sell as they want until they are caught.

Well come 1/1/2017 it’s looking like “recreational MJ” will be fine and dandy here in NV. Up to an ounce? No problem. Prices may drop but the state will be imposing a tax on it. Will the tax be as high as for cigarettes, which are bad for you but MJ isn’t. Looking forward to many slow speed pursuits.

Your point is well taken that the push for background checks will soon be followed by a push for national gun registration.

However, Democrats have an old saying: “Guns kill at the polls”. They’ve gotten burned on gun control before, like in 1994. Pushing Federal registration for all firearms (in the 1960’s they said they only wanted handguns registered) in the Congress is still pretty risky.

So far it’s only certified nutjobs in hermetically safe seats who propose such legislation, which usually dies in committee. Rosa DeLauro & Chuckie Schumer are the typical suspects.

Even if the Dems took over the Senate, a national registration bill would still be politically dangerous for “red state” Democrats. Dingy Harry Reid will be up to his old tricks of denying the bill a full floor vote since a vote for gun control still sticks to Democrats like green oobleck.

Bammie has been p***ing and moaning ever since Newtown that he can’t just whisk gun rights away with a stroke of his pen. Betray-us is about to discover the same.

Say, it ain't so, David!

No doubt that Guy is brilliant but probably spent too much time with Ivy Leaguers.
