Sounds like Johnson was getting cold feet about Britain exiting the EU and he got pushed out of the way by those who are serious about getting on with the exit.

Boris factoid: He and the Donald were born in the same city — the Donald in Queens, and Boris in Manhattan (upper East Side).

The Tories are like our GOP-USELESS.

Yes, and possibly no.

If you/we think back to the breaking away of OUR country, it was only by the actions of a few, a very few actually.

There were some who followed and some who led.

Not all who led, became leaders. Washington would not allow himself to be declared King.

Not all who followed, kept following.

I respect your sign on name.

Is it any different than following this site?

Free Republic?

(I've taken liberties in my reply to you and want it known that I respect your opinion. I also want it known that there may be too much negativity and acquiescence in many posts)

Just in case anyone was interested, the BBC strongly hints at their own favorite in this dust up this morning, to wit:

Michael Gove is coming under growing pressure to abandon his bid to become Tory leader, the BBC has been told.

Sources have told the BBC government ministers are trying to persuade the justice secretary to make way so the party can "unite" around Theresa May.

One can, of course, only guess at their source.
