A onetime opponent is throwing his support behind Marco Rubio.
On Wednesday, Sen. Ted Cruz said he was glad to support Rubio in his re-election bid. Cruz, a Texas Republican, was one of more than a dozen Republicans who ran for president earlier this year.
Marco Rubio is a friend and has been an ally in many battles we have fought together in the Senate. Im glad to support him in his bid for re-election, he said in a Facebook post shortly after Rubios announcement. Marco is a tremendous communicator and a powerful voice for the American Dream. At this time of great challenges, we very much need strong leaders in the Senate who will fight to restore economic growth, to defend our constitutional liberties, and to ensure a strong national security for our nation.
According to Elaina Plott with the Washingtonian, Rubio reached out to Cruz to confirm he intended to run. The Washingtonian reported Rubio asked Cruz to send out a statement urging the Miami Republican to run for re-election, but Cruz declined because he didnt want to be seen as pushing Rep. Ron DeSantis out of the race.
Rubio also appeared to get support from Ohio Republican Gov. John Kasich, another one-time presidential opponent. In a tweet Wednesday, Kasich said keeping (Rubio) serving in the Senate is good news for the people of FL & our entire nation. Good luck, Marco!

So Cruz can support Mr. Amnesty, but not Mr. Trump?
This guy... (shake my head)
Once again T. Cruz is revealing his true position.
You mean actually follow through on the solemn pledge he signed? This is Cruz we are talking about here.
Also Mr. “we don’t endorse anybody on this show” Mark Levin just endorsed Rubio. Those must be some great foam parties.
Frankly, this man is nowhere near the political forefront of m thoughts. At best he an also-ran that blew any semblance of right and propriety in the wake of his losses.
Dogmatic insanity is my assessment.
Help out the foam boy? Just more crap from this globalist illegal lovin’ fraud Ted Cruz. The fact that he still has more than a few supporters completely fooled is really something also. Just LEAVE Cruz....and take your NWO/Goldman Sachs/NAU freaky ‘wife’ with you.
I’m with you on Sessions for veep!
The wife, once exposed, was a dead giveaway.
I’m praying for it... far and away the best choice. Trying not to get my hopes up though!
Ted Cruz: “I’m still the king of voterless states!”
So Ted is “glad” to support Mr. Bubbles, but he won’t endorse the only man standing between the nation and a vindictive, sadistic criminal.
We dodged a bullet on Cruz.
TC now believes in bubbles?
Lots of Cruz supporters did a ‘self-purge’ over the past few months. Wonder how will return with an apology in hand? Zero? That’s about right.
It does not speak well because Marco is a business as usual corporatist cheap labor politician.
Cruz continues to make an ass of himself. Sad for his supporters.
That the extremely moral Sessions picked Trump over Cruz (and Rubio) is telling. Not that Trump doesn’t have some glaring flaws—everyone running has them.
Rubio has the morality of the psychopathic satanists (Ba’al worshippers with his little gay foam parties) Cute, Cruz, endorsing males with diabolical desires of satanists.
People who participate in sick, narcissistic, “orgies” “for love” (LOL) are really diabolical, warped people with no morality whatsoever. Virtue is needed for Freedom, Cruz—Rubio is a slave—no inner control whatsoever.
Cruz knows all about Rubio and his park escapades, and endorses him. Tells you how “Christian” Cruz really is, when he embraces followers of satan.
