WASHINGTON D.C. - Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) clashed with presumptive presidential nominee Donald Trump in a private meeting on Thursday, according to the Washington Post.
A representative for Flake confirmed the details of their exchange during Trump's meeting with Senate Republicans.
When Flake introduced himself, Trump said Flake had "been very critical" of him.
Sources told the Post that Flake responded by calling himself "the other senator from Arizona -- the one who didn't get captured."
