check this out... even in this very incident the cops throw an innocent citizen under the bus in a panic to protect themselves first:
“Did the false narrative about police killing blacks lead to the Dallas cop killings?”
Let’s just say that Wolf Blitzer, Chris Cuomo, and those other idiots at CNN, who like to loop partial or edited clips of police incidents to “get the narrative out there” 24/7, have blood on their hands.
We need to call them BLT:
BLACK
LYING
TERRORISTS
Re your comments in post #34:
I agree completely with your comments about Clinton getting away with her crimes and partially with some of the other comments.
However, the violence would be de-escalated a LOT if the Black Lives Matter people, those in the “black community”, and the media would simply admit the truth:
Trevon Martin died because he attacked a guy who had a gun, not because he was black. He could have simply gone home to his cousin’s house.
Michael Brown died because he attacked a police officer who had a gun, not because he was black. The pre-attack video proves he was a thug, not a gentle giant. Still, if he had simply got out of the middle of the street when the officer asked him to nothing would have happened. Instead, he attacked the officer while he was still in his car and then later charged the officer, who shot him in self-defense.
The guy in Baltimore probably caused his own death by flinging himself against the inside of the van, as the other guy in van the said, but then retracted that story (he has to live in the hood). It was not because officer Whatshisname killed him in the police van with the accelerator pedal, and not because he was black.
The death of the fat guy in New York was a tragic accident. If he hadn’t resisted arrest he’d probably be still alive. I don’t know whether or not the police tried to simply walk up to the guy and put handcuffs on him. If not, they should have.
I’ve seen initial video of the incident in Baton Rouge but it’s too early to draw a conclusion. The Chief says there’s body cam video as well, which I have not seen.
I haven’t seen anything about the incident in Minnesota yet.
As far as your comment about shoot-first-cover-up-later, it’s Obama and the Justice Department that’s more likely to cover up the truth.
I agree that there are unreasonable demands mixed in with the reasonable ones, and that those should be discarded out of hand.
But we cannot forget that there are substantial reasonable grievances as well, Constitutional rights trampled on with abandon, which have been ignored and have been festering for many years.
Such as?
such as 80k mostly unnecessary SWAT raids, too many of which have put innocents in the crossfire of a situation deliberately made dangerous by the tactic...
such as forfeiture in all its forms...
such as incarceration for kickbacks...
such as is the deployment of police for revenue generation...
such as is the right to a speedy trial, and for the poor for adequate representation
such as excessive sentences that are used to achieve higher conviction rates than Nazi Germany...
such the highest incarceration rate in the world...
there’s a lot that is broken in this justice system
